OK, Jerry, you can't play stupid with me. We don't, and never have, had enough native-born kids to keep the average age of the population from slowly creeping upward--with all the attendant consequences. If we choke off immigration, either officially due to policy or unofficially due to societal pressures, we won't be able to maintain our social democracy; our tax structure and "welfare state." In particular, our elderly will suffer.

We can't expect dumb turds like Boilerboob and Millerscum to think ahead. But I still have some hope for you.

If we could only get most of those people to actually pay taxes, that would be great.  But they don't.  That is how this subject started.

Everybody pays taxes of some kind, from the instant they participate in the economy. Obviously, some people do and some don't pay income taxes in a given year. That includes plenty o' true-blue januwine native-born MURRICANS.

Also, Jerry...while some of THEM may get government assistance--and the extent and duration of that is wildly exaggerated by our idiot conservitards--they just need that to get on their feet and start working. And they do. They didn't come here expecting to be coddled.

In fact, I have far more respect for someone who's risked everything and walked a thousand miles to get here and make a better life for himself than I do for some crabby old conservitard sitting on his couch, watching Fox News, chugging beer, and bitching about "THEM."

To make sure everyone pays taxes, kevin should be in favor of a national VAT tax.

Kevin thinks unemployment taxes are taken out of employee's pay checks. That was day 1 of me not discussing tax of any kind with him anymore.

Taxes are paid by employers, and those taxes reduce the amounts that employees are paid. Obviously, that isn't shown on pay stubs. But are you really so stupid as to say that the taxes employers must pay don't affect the wages they pay employees? Really???

Employers pay an average of 1 dollar in taxes for every five dollars they pay employees. An employee paid $20 an hour is actually earning $24, but $4 of that money is going to federal and state governments.

Of course, I've explained this all to you before, but you prefer to play stupid in order to stoke a pointless argument and prove some sort of idiotic "point."
