Oh sure. We have no interest in what the FBI whistleblowers have to say. We don't care if elected politicians and federal agencies collude with oligarchs in private industry to push propaganda and stifle free speech. Let's just blindly trust the FBI, CIA, IRS, DOJ to be free from bias.
Used to be a time when democrat civil libertarians would be appalled by such attitudes. Now...not so much. Now they seem to believe that simply questioning government abuse of power is an attack on all law enforcement everywhere and even an attack on democracy itself. The R's endured a lot of scrutiny from the D's during the last two+ years. Since basic fairness is a tenet that R's should ascribe to, it's just the D's turn in the well now. We want the other side to enjoy the same type of experiences..it's your turn.. have some fun with it...because it's happening. This reciprocal party browbeating script has been occurring since the late 1700's...nothing new. The real truths about any / all scenarios might even eventually emerge..but it'll take a while and they might end up redefining the real truths and facts.
