Yes, David, I apologize for derailing your post. I should have started my own. Sorry.

No need to apologize - everyone has a "right" to comment. I just thought it was time to get back to the posted topic.

When someone puts a term in quotation marks like that, they're mocking the term or implying that the opposite is true. For instance, I'm sure that David would say that a woman has the "right" to get an abortion. Similarly, I would say that the Orange Turd is "honest."
So what David is really saying here is that according to him, no one has the right to comment--at least on "his" threads. If he sincerely meant that everyone has the right to post what they wish, on- or off-topic, he wouldn't have put "right" in quotation marks.

I always find it simply amazing how Lewis can completely and incorrectly define what another persons intent is/was when making a statement - all the while in an attempt to place doubt in the credability of what that person stated. My personal utilization of quotation marks is my way of insuring that the words I use are a focal point of the topic I am addressing. There are no "hidden" meanings there (note that I used quotation marks to highlight the word "hidden") - and any subjective interpretation that attributes any other meaning to my choice of words is asinine. The verbage I use, when looked up in a dictionary, is being used and has the actual meaning that is found in a dictionary. I look forward to the next wrong and moronically critical response by Lewis as to what I have stated here. Stay tuned...

I find it amazing that you always weasel and never admit when you're wrong. That shows an utter lack of decency or character. Typical for a Trump-licking MAGA, I guess.
I'm willing to accept that you're so ignorant of common English usage as to not know that putting quotation marks around a word of phrase, when you're not actually quoting anyone, changes the expressed meaning of the word. Your posts generally show a lack of knowledge of basic English, much as your hero has Trump Capitalization Syndrome, so it's plausible that you truly don't know what quotation marks mean.
If you want to place emphasis on a word, use italics, bolding, or underlining; all are acceptable. Quotation marks do not connote emphasis.
I can help you with your many other misunderstandings of the English language if you want.

Ypu have my permission to scribe your twisted truths, out and out lies and filth any way you want. I, on the other hand, will continue to post actual, factual and truthful content in my own, easy to read and comprehend manner.

You really should take me up on my free English lessons offer. For instance, you wouldn't write such pompous and silly twaddle such as stating that your OPINIONS are "actual, factual, and truthful."
Your writing is indeed easy to read and comprehend. It's also riddled with basic mistakes that would shame a third-grader.
Yeah, things really got back on topic.

Not many topics stay on track when Lewis is responding.

Was the topic worth being on in the first place?

Your non topic comments surely were not "worth" being posted.
