How did you vote your ballot?

I'm just going through my first pass on my ballot, not counting the judicial retention votes, I have 18 ballot measures to vote on for city, and county issues that also include state constitutional amendments, statutory matters, and tax issues.

So far I've selected a Democrat incumbent as the House Representative, not a big fan, and I do like the Republican small business owner running, he's not MAGA. The problem is if Trump wins the Republicans tend to turn MAGA when they get to D.C. So unfortunately I have to vote Dem for national races.

I voted for a Dem for State Senator, I wanted to vote for the Republican, but what made me go for the Dem is that on his local newspaper Q&A he said he would try to appeal the $0.10 plastic bag fee that was passed two years ago to bring down prices. Small thinking in my opinion.

For State Representative I went with the Republican, he is moderate and we need a balance in the state legislature, I just wish I had more qualified Republicans to vote for.

I also voted for Harris/Walz.

Now I get to research the 18 state, county, and local measures over the next few weeks and decide how I want to vote, several of them I already had made a decision. Other I need to look at, I'm so glad I'm not standing in line on a Tuesday and then walking into a booth forced to make a snap decision.

"I also voted for Harris/Walz". - Well, that confirns it - you are a complete moron.

ANYONE who supported the guy who praised and then promised to pardon those who tried to invalidate my vote on 1/6/2020 is disqualified from consideration.

I am a single-issue voter when it comes to whether my vote counts.

Well, next January you'd best remember this when your side actually subverts democracy when they protest and riot with actual violence.  The 2billion in damages from fires and destruction from BLM and antifa from their last nationwide rampages will likely pale in comparison when Trump is back in office.

Do you think Trump is too weak as a President to protect the USA from its own citizens? Why would you vote for him then?

By the way, I must give you credit, you're a veritable encyclopedia of right-wing MAGA talking points. It's like a stroll through MAGA "whataboutism" history.

Remember when Al Gore and Hillary Clinton lost? Remember all the Democrats rioting?

Me neither.

Where I reside and vote, pretty much every race is won by Democrats. I vote straight blue all the way down the ticket, because it would be a moral crime to vote Republican. And the MAGAs who have decided to waste time and money running for office here are so far to the wackadoodle right, they might as well be in Idaho.

We do have some interesting propositions on the ballot. It's obvious that they've been distorted and misrepresented by interest groups on both sides. Oregon's referendum process gives citizens more power than in most states. That's consistent with the way things are done here.

And 99.9% of ballots are submitted by mail (they can also be given to the county clerk's office), so no one has to take a day off to vote, and most of all, no one has to stand in line while a scowling MAGA with a machine gun "oversees" them.

Remember Hillary saying Trump was an illegitimate President?  Yep, I do too.

And yes, I do remember dozens of protests, most violent.  Even your lefty wikipedia remembers them too.

In your world protest is the same as insurrection, right?
