How does DARING to disagree with Miller make PJ "delusional"?

Jerry Ice, and PJ Stroh, there are always two sides, and often three sides, to every story.  Whatever Anthony is told and how he receives it, what he chooses to believe, whom he chooses to favor is his business.   It doesn't change who either of you are.   I'd say take what do enjoy about the Advisor and disregard the rest.  I'm amazed at myself for even checking in on Kitchen Sink now and then, but occasionally there is something interesting and I might think I have something to learn and maybe something to contribute. 

Kind of like any workplace, most of us have had a bone to pick with a co-worker, or the 'boss', yet we keep quiet and get over it rather than making a case over it and possibly getting fired or at least a bad evaluation.   

Who knows, Kevin might be running to AC right now to report me for my "bullying" comment.  I've always said Kevin contributes a lot of useful information about Las Vegas and surrounding areas, gambling, eateries, etc.  Kevin and I have exchanged some reasonably stated posts of different viewpoints.  But my nature often compells me to defend something really egregious that is said by someone about someone, and I suspect neither party personally knows the other, and I certainly have never met them either.  And I GREATLY dislike generalizations about people and issues that the speaker/writer cannot possibly know.  They can conjure it up, believe it, think it, but they can't know it like they say they do.  That's my beef, because it taints any reasoned debate about things.

I think what is going on now, what is funny, is that we have two front-running presidential candidates that nobody can feel good about voting for.  It is making for some hilarious op-ed page cartoons in my state-wide newspaper.  If Kevin and David Miller could at least agree about that, and stop the never-ending grandstanding, we could continue to have some meaty, serious, funny, informative discussions in Kitchen Sink without the never-ending tiresome accusations and bleatings.

Well, Candy, I think that's part of the problem this country is facing, in that so many people think that we're facing a choice between two lousy presidential candidates, and that if you choose one, it'll be because you think he's less lousy than the other. I don't share that view at all. I think that Donald Trump is a horrible presidential candidate as well as a horrible human being, and anyone who would even consider voting for his has deeply disturbing moral and character flaws. I mean, he's a multiple rapist (to name one little detail)...and people don't CARE??

So, I can't have informative and serious discussions with people I consider to be deeply flawed and evil...and aside from that, have taken and intend to take actions that will in a very real way make my life and the lives of those I care about miserable. That's not hyperbole, Candy. People will be poorer; people will sicken; people will die, All as a direct result of another Trump presidency. 

I know that you don't see the urgency and therefore are inclined to see a Trumper as just another occupant on the political spectrum. But Trumpism goes far, far, far beyond politics---I'm sure you understand that it isn't just some nutation of conservatism. It's like Naziism was not just a political philosophy, buy a way of life that dominated a nation. And yes, that comparison may be tired, but it's valid.

And can the discourse still be civil, regardless? Yes, of course. But Trumpers have shown that their hero's foul mouth (and I DON'T refer to 'cuss words')  is no deterrent for them. So why talk to them in a civil fashion?

Yeah. And being concerned in Germany in 1933 was "HDS." Gotta "LOL" at your naivete.

Candy,   Highly doubt Kevin runs and "tattles" to AC about anyone, least of all you.  You are level headed and pretty much stay above the fray, which probably everyone appreciates.  I know I do.  

Not sure if you watched last Friday's, "Beers with Anthony and Andrew" Youtube video, but AC actually mentions Kevin, and how knowledgeable he is about most all things Vegas.  You also mention Kevin's knowledge in your post above.   Kevin actually contributed to LVA for some time, so AC has had a relationship with Kevin.  And despite that, AC did ban Kevin for those two weeks.  

But I agree, the political stuff is what really gets contentious in here, and it's better to skip on by it most times.  That's what I like, that I can just not read it, or even Block Users so I don't even see what they post.  

It does truly baffle me that anyone would bitch, moan, whine, complain, and gripe about reading anything, anywhere, that not only do they not have to read...it takes deliberate effort to do so. 

I'd like to note that if Miller, Boiler, Tom, etc. laid off the continual evil, stupid Trumper propaganda screeds, then I wouldn't bother to originate any political comment of my own. But do you think Miller is capable of laying aside his pompous widdle speechies about da trooty troot and how all the people who don't think like him are destroying America, or Boiler ceasing to blame the "Libs" (whoever they are!) for his piles acting up?

To your last sentence, Kevin, NOPE.   It won't stop.   And I know that you will keep on busting 'em until they eventually do.  Ever vigilant, that's you. 

Their shit (in the broader sense, as in, here and elsewhere, by them and by others) could be safely ignored if not for the sad and horrible fact that so many people buy it. Tom's constant refrain "ALL IMMERGENTS IS ILLEGULS" is one example, despite its gross illogic. So is the myth that Trump is or could be a decent or competent leader.

It would be easier, I suppose, to ignore it all. But we just laughed and gave it a pass in 2016, and the eventual result was the death of hundreds of thousands of "extra" covid victims. Never again!

And no, neither can admit those two old idiots are complete buffoons which is pretty hilarious in itself.  

And like I said, AC kisses Kevin's ass.  He may not like that but he knows it is true too.  

And what are YOU, Jerry-- a timeless sage who dispenses pearls of wisdom? Because I'm pretty sure that at least two-thirds of your posts on these forums have been snide, stupid personal attacks on me. You contribute very, very little, which I suspect is true for the world at large as well.
