This shows that there is literally nothing for them to do and all the taxpayer dollars that were spent to get them there were simply wasted.

Crime is decreasing and Liberals are pissed.

Crime was already decreasing by 30% And the troops are spending most of their time in the affluent and low crime Georgetown area and around the Federal buildings. They aren't even policing the high crime areas.  Trump has managed to kill the restaurant business in DC as reservations are down by more than 30%

Futhermore, the Feds are having a hard time getting indictments because the troops have never been trained in criminal procedure and the head prosecutor is a Fox News personality.  Federal prosecutors have a 99% indictment rate. The Fox News flunkie is at 0-6 in her high profile cases. 

The reduction in crime is in doubt as 1 commander has already been suspended for falsifying crime data. The investigation is continuing. The police union says falsifying data happens all the time. 

The troops have cleaned out Union Station & they are not arresting anyone. They are there to protect federal property; freeing up police resources for crimes. 

Liberals had no problem when the Guard was deployed to DC for 6 months in 21 or currently  in New Mexico or in NYC for 20 years, or using the Guard to check for vaccine "passports" at the nyc airports. 

The difference is that the democrats ordered it. 

It is shameful that so many people disregard their responsibility to take care of their own trash. 

IMHO there is no legit reason, rich or poor, man or woman, old or young, citizen or non, employed or unemployed, wealthy or homeless, to not dispose of one's own trash responsibly, not throw it in the street, yard, parking lot, park, anywhere.  There should not be a need for those troops to be assigned to trash pick-up in public areas.   People who toss their trash in the street are filthy pigs.

But I digress.  Sorry.  A pet peeve.
