We need some new words in our language.
Maybe different words for someone telling a lie that's easily discerned to be a lie, versus lies that aren't obvious lies.
Maybe different words for lies that are irrational on the surface but appeal to a kind of faith, like so-and-so rose from the dead or turned two loaves into thousands, or machines were rigged without an iota of evidence, and lies that claim to be rooted in fact.
Trump has lied since his heyday with the Taj Mahal and before. Every public appearance has been draped and laced with lie after lie.
Fauci lied left, right, and in between, straight-faced and serious as a pallbearer. What to do with someone like Rachel Maddow, who lied to national audiences about vaccines to such an extent that she should face criminal charges (she said you can't get Covid if vaccinated AND you can't spread it; she actually bald-faced stated those things on national television). Her lies changed behaviors and cost lives. No question about it.
Trump is his own liar. His entire business career is bloated with non-payments to vendors and stiffing everyone; 3000 lawsuits in 30 years regarding such things. He lies in contracts all the time because he has no intention of fulfilling them. But Fauci and Maddow, they lie as part of a larger problem, namely the hijacking of American media by institutional liars.
It's all lies, basically. Personally, I appreciate lies that are so stupid that you can see them for what they are.

Rather than inventing new words, you can employ a useful tool--the adjective. Trump tells egregious lies. Trump tells transparent lies. Et cetera.
I think you're dead wrong about Fauci and Maddow, but I've debated that endlessly with our MAGA morons before, so I'm not inclined to do it again now.
You're making a blunder when you throw up your hands and say that "It's all lies." That's simply untrue. You do have to employ a filter, but that filter can't be simply opaque. What you have to do is ask yourself some questions: does the speaker/writer have anything to gain by his audience believing him? If so, there's a heightened chance he's lying. Does his audience care about or value the truth? If not, heightened chance of a lie.
For instance, when Trump honks to a mob of MAGA goobers at one of his hate rallies, he has everything to gain from them believing him, and they are utterly indifferent to whether he's telling the truth or not. They're entertained, and they gobble up all the red meat he throws them.
I expect a bloviating narcissist like Mr. Trump to lie. His lies don't really damage me.
What I expect from someone like Fauci is the truth. What I expect from someone like Maddow is not some declarative nonsense with horrendous consequences. Maddow did more damage with her lies, in terms of lives affected and lost, than a dozen MAGA-attacks-the-Capitol cheerleader speeches. Maybe more damage than a hundred MAGA-attacks-the-capitol rallies.
And censorship is a form of lying. The current administration and its institutions has been more fascistic with online censorship and strong-arming of information than Trump on his worst day. They both make the Fourth Reich proud.

Was Maddow sued for lies? Who was that again?
Also, did Fauci tell anyone to drink bleach?

> How many lies ...Did tRump tell in his MTP interview yesterday
Incomplete list but good for starters:

------------------------
Lies are purposefully told falsehoods.
As George Costanza said, "If you believe it, it's not a lie."
It's pretty simple.
Fauci and Maddow believed what they were saying based on the best available evidence at the time, so they weren't lying. They were just wrong.
Trump purposefully admitted to telling untruths in his taped interviews with Bob Woodward that Woodward published as "The Trump Tapes."
So Trump is a liar. Real simple.

Yeah, the MAGAs and other talking heads who bleat about Fauci, Maddow, etc. don't grasp the distinction between lying and telling something that one honestly believes to be true but turns out to be incorrect. Fauci and Maddow weren't trying to mislead anyone. They were simply giving the best advice they could based on incomplete information. There was no malice involved.
Similarly, an opinion can never be a lie (or the truth, for that matter). It is possible to lie about one's own opinion ("I believe that..." when you don't). Example: "I love the uneducated." Classic Trumpshit--he actually has nothing but contempt for the drooling shortbus goobers who worship him.
LOL Did you really count how many LIES ? hahaha

Did I say that I did? I suppose it would be easier for someone like you to count the tRump non lies....
