How Many Of You Trump Lovers Are Going To Hold A Coronavirus Party?

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear announced 39 new cases of the new coronavirus in the state on Tuesday, including one individual who attended a “coronavirus party.” According to the Lexington Herald-Leader, Beshear said a group of 20-somethings attended the party and he believed the individuals there knew someone was infected.

It is like a Russian roulette party only the people that loose don't get a quick death they linger on painfully for weeks and infect their loved ones before they die.

We've seen numerous examples of morons ignoring what's happening all around them. We've also seen numerous examples of Trumpers believing, and even supporting, the bullshit pitched by our Liar-in-Chief. That has led and will lead to widespread death.

Thankfully, I live in a place where people seem to be heeding the warnings and there's a good healthcare system. We don't have many instances of Clem Cornpone in his MAGA hat, running around coughing on everyone.

We need competence and leadership right now, but getting that from Trump is about as likely as finding a cherry pie in a pile of pig droppings. All Trump is doing now is babbling about his fantasies.

But our Trumpers remain loyal!

It appears that a large percentage of those not heading virus warnings are young voting aged people.  Most of these folks are Democrat voters.

Any support for that assertion other than "it seems"?

And they're ignoring warnings because they're young, not because of their politics.

However, there are lots of instances of middle-aged and even elderly Trumpers ignoring social distancing guidelines. My observation is that where I am, folks of that demographic---who, unlike in Trumper Land, tend to be liberal---are obeying the guidelines.

The states where even the GOVERNMENTS are telling people to ignore the liberal fake news coronavirus are dead-red, like Idaho, or just red, like Florida.

You get younger people ignoring guidelines because they think they're immortal. You get older people ignoring guidelines because they listen to Trump.

You have to give him more credit than that. Trump is a master marketer. That's the talent he's brought to all of his endeavors. He didn't so much build office towers and condos than brand and market them. Trump University was just a cynical. heartless marketing scam exploiting the dreams of poor people for a better life. He marketed himself on his TV show as a brilliant entrepreneur.

Now he is marketing false hope for the terrified. He is selling hopes of an Easter with pink and white Easter bunnies,  Easter baskets with Cadbury eggs, and church going for the religious.

The terrifying part is that -- as a modern day P.T. Barnum --  he succeeds. His branded buildings (the later ones) that he had nothing to do with building sold at a premium. Trump U. succeeded in fleecing the gullible and enriching himself until it was shut down by states' attorneys general. The TV show was highly rated until people got bored with it.

Enough gullible people will want to believe his theory of the spread of the virus that they'll buy what he's selling and probably reelect him, which is, of course, the only thing that matters to him and what this is all about.
