There is a group out there now that has funding and is going to pursue it.  Republicans shouldn't be shocked if Trump gets removed from the ballot in some states. Keep in mind the 14th amendment doesn't even require an insurrection a mere rebellion will do.  In my mind one can simply not ignore the Constitution because of political sensibilities.   That clause is there for a reason and if January 6th doesn't count as an insurrection or rebellion what would? I believe this issue should be litigated.
