How many top conservatives wish Trump would disappear?

The wake immediately following Jan. 6th.  Top Republicans denounced Trump.  Trump threatened to take his base and form a third party, which would destroy the GOP.  All the GOP leadership fell back into line.  Today. according to Carl Bernstein, there are 30 Republican congressional members who despise Trump but sing a different song publicly.  Desantis, Pence, McCarthy, McConnell and many others would jump with glee when Trump goes away.  Publicly they are very quiet.  They are scared of him.

Why? You can't read. You get your ''news'' from Facebook.

Now get back into the foot locker, Gimp.

From  https://denvergazette.com/news/nation-world/carl-bernstein-claims-no-denials-among-21-gop-senators-he-listed-as-trump-haters-but/article_623926c5-c1eb-5c6e-89e8-b5f5d1a2b25b.html- was this -Contrary to Bernstein's assertion that there were no denials, some senators and their offices did reject his reporting when the Washington Examiner reached out to them for comment. Among them were Sens. Mike Braun of Indiana and Rob Portman of Pennsylvania. "This is more false news from a CNN political analyst, as I was one of President Trump's top defenders during impeachment and strongly support his legal efforts to ensure that every legal vote is counted," Braun told the Washington Examiner. "This is absolutely false. The senator has never talked to Mr. Bernstein, and we don't know where he's getting his false information. The senator supported President Trump's reelection and believes his policies are better for Ohio and the entire country," Emily Benavides, a spokeswoman for Portman, told the Washington Examiner.

There are other news sources that state the same.

My source was.:  I'm sorry, you know, the old memory, it's thing of the past, plus I've doubled up on the gummies. In my fog, I seem to remember the source stated with a  "Q".

It was CNN.

Hell, they've all been trying, with very little success, to disassociate themselves from the Orange Pusbag since 2015. Look what has happened to the few apostates who don't conform. Not lining up to lick his balls is political suicide for the RepubliQ.

But yeah, they all wish he would go away or die or be dragged off to prison. Florida Man in particular would have clear sailing if not for potential interference from the Pusbag.

There's no courage or dignity in having contempt for Trump and his legacy of corruption if its hidden in private.   Most Republicans who have retired from his inner circle or left COngress are all on record saying how insane and dangerous he was/is.   I'm not impressed that William Barr can serve as Trump' accomplice for 2 years only to denounce him after he left the building.   Nor am I impressed with Paul Ryan waiting to retire to do the same.

I would never vote for Liz Cheney for anything in a million years due to ideological differences but she is a true profile in courage.   It takes balls to confront the bad apples in your own house and she has more balls than any of the men on her side of the aisle.    History will remember her as a hero and her Republican colleagues as cowards.
