As it's likely that the Republipigs will win the House, and maybe the Senate, we good, sane, moral people need to form a defensive strategy. The best thing we can to is to realize that:
1. The greatest advantage we have is that time is NOT on the RepubliQ's side. After two years of observing how Republipigs try to run things, the people will return the House to the Democrats in 2024. Likewise the Senate (if it does flip in the first place), because the 2024 Senate elections will greatly favor the Democrats.
2. The Republiscum have made it clear that they'll try to shut down the government. THAT will go well with the electorate! This includes lots of Republiholes who suck off the government tit and suddenly, won't be getting their paychecks.
3. The other major effect of a government shutdown is that it will ruin our credit rating. Anybody who is paying interest on any obligation without a fixed interest rate will get fucked. It will cost the nation billions.
4. The RepubliQ agenda is about virtue signaling, culture wars, propaganda, and eight bills at last count to be introduced screaming about CRT. Anything to make people's lives better? Anything to combat inflation? Nope.
5. They plan to "privatize" Medicare. The health care of millions of seniors will be handed to corporations. Premiums will skyrocket.
6. They plan to cut off aid to Ukraine. The Party of Putin plans to serve its master. Ukraine will lose the war.
7. Trump will still be around, noisily demonstrating what a wackadoodle asshole he is and creating divisions within the party.
So maybe this is a blessing in disguise. Let everyone see just how fucked up it gets when the Republipigs try to run things. Biden can, of course, veto any "Federal Abortion Police" or "Black People Can't Vote" legislation. The Democratic party should concentrate on blocking the evil RepubliQ agenda at every turn. What can't be blocked, should be slowed down. Over and over. Let's use Republihole tactics. See how they like it! Filibuster filibuster filibuster!
