And second, Abbott's attempt to close the border goes against the Supreme Court, which ruled with the Federal Government, that Abbott needs to let the CBP into Shelby Park. Clearly, Abbott is trying to usurp control of a policy he doesn't like, and as such is going against the US Government. Illegals coming from Mexico is not the type of "invasion" that the Invasion Clause in the Constitution was about. Immigration is not an invasion.
Biden needs to send the Attorney General and the Director of Homeland Security down to Texas to confront Abbott and make sure he complies with the Supreme Court's ruling.
