The Department of Justice allowed the statute of limitations to expire on his most serious tax charges, buried evidence of the Bidens' foreign bribery allegations, and attempted to give Hunter a sweetheart deal with broad immunity. David Weiss, the special counsel, wouldn't pursue the serious tax charges or the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) violations because those would lead back to the shady business dealings involving his father.
