😂 Neither the tax offenses nor the gun offense would have been prosecuted if his name hadn't been Hunter Biden. The tax offense would have been settled for 50 cents on the dollar and no criminal liability. The gun offense would have never been prosecuted.

Think of the state of Nevada. How many gun owners do you think have smoked marijuana? Everyone of them would have to be prosecuted if you apply the same standard. And I am fine if Republicans want to prosecute these types of cases. We would have to increase federal law enforcement ten fold, build a lot of new Federal Prisons and the government would have to confiscate millions of guns.

Does any resident Liberal know that the judge asked the prosecutor if he could state precedent on such a plee agreement? Does any Lib know what the prosecutor stated in his reply? Of course you don't. I scoured the internet for 30 minutes reading NY Times, USA Today, NBC, CBS, ABC articles and more. Amazingly, only the NY Post mentioned that the prosecutor stated that there is no precedent for such a deal. Shocking....that's sarcasm.

There is no precedent I know of that talks about the legality of plea deals for illegal gun possession. There has never been a case like that brought before an appeals court so there is no precedent. Largely cases that don't involve using the gun in a crime are not prosecuted as a stand alone crime. On appeal, Hunter would claim selective prosecution and of all things the 2nd amendment. He would win.
But like I said if you want it enforced that way I am all for it. I note if Boiler ever consumed marijuana in his lifetime including trips to states like Nevada where it is legal under state law, he is prohibited from owning a gun. If he has used the drug and he owns a gun he should immediately surrender to law enforcement and expect to be charged with felony possession of a firearm. This goes for everyone else too. Like I said I am all for it. I suspect around 50 percent of gun owners in America can be charged right now and they are mostly conservative folks.
