I have not problem with people going to jail for illegally attempted to subvert a peaceful transfer of power

I do have a problem with folks who believe that believe that it is illegal for holding a belief that Biden should not have been allowed into office.  We don't need "thought police".

No one has EVER said that it's against the law to believe something that's nonsense, so you're complaining about nothing.

It IS against the law for legislators and government officials to enact and enforce laws based on demonstrably false premises.

It IS against the law to knowingly disseminate false information if that information causes harm. Such an activity is NOT protected free speech.

Its not a question of what people believe.   William Todd Wilson pleaded guilty to sedition.   He conspired with other seditionists who coordinated a mass of arms to be used in the event if needed on Jan 6.  He rushed the Captial.. He assaulted police.  ANd he tried to stop the peaceful transfer of power.

Thats not my opinion.  Thats what he pleaded guilty to.   He's now ratting out his co-conspirators in an attempt to reduce his sentence which can be up to 40 years in prison.

Tell me you don't have a clue how conspiracy laws work without telling me you don't have a clue how conspiracy laws work.

Well, I'm not. It has nothing whatsoever to do with free speech.
