I Love Living in Texas - Gasoline $2.19/Gallon, 75 wonderful Degrees With Clear Skies

Life doesn't get much better than this.

We had clear skies in far west Texas, then 4-5 planes flew over now it's completely overcast with wispy 'contrails'.

Flyover country!

Honestly, eastern New Mexico and western Texas--Llano Estacado country--comprise some of the bleakest, most featureless country I've ever seen. Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains NPs, as well as Big Bend (which is waaay South), provide some diversion.

I like El Paso, primarily because I enjoy crossing into Juarez. Different world over there.
