WHENEVER President Trump speaks the truth, the liberals/DemocRats will call him a racist - you can count on it.

Candy, the question is clear. If Trump speaks the truth, is it racist?
I was replying to Tom's question, which is not the same. Tom asked is Trump a racist if he points out facts [negative ones] about Baltimore. Neither I nor anyone else can say if, in that particular situation, Trump's statements about Baltimore are based on racism: "The notion that one's [his] own ethnic stock is superior" to those of every citizen living in Baltimore. I can't know the answer and neither can you or anyone else unless Trump has clearly stated this belief for all to know. "Yes, I believe I am ethnically superior to all citizens of Baltimore."
This 'racist' debate is silly and only perpetuates misuse of the concept.
Candy said I do think his public mockings are irresponsible at best, and dangerous at worst. My opinion. Doesn't mean I have decided which way to vote in the next election.
I am curious what amount of evidence you would have to have to conclude Trump is indeed a racist or practitioner of racism if you don't like the term racist? Let me remind you of just a few of his greatest hits.
1. In the 1970s he got sued by the Nixion administration for racial discrimination in his rentals. The Federal government said he would lie to black renters telling them there were no units available or let them fill out an application but then throw their application away once they left the rental office. He had to settle the case. If Tricky Dick thought he was racially discriminating back in the 1970s that is saying a lot.
2. In the 1980s at one of the casinos he owned whenever he came for a visit, all black employees were ordered off the casino floor told to hide in the back or go home.
3. In the late 1980s, he took out ads including at least one full-page ad saying the Central Park Five should get the death penalty. The teen's sentences were vacated after DNA testing cleared them, but not before they spent 7-10 years in prison. In 2016 Trump said he still believes they were guilty. The city of New York had to pay them 41 million dollars for their wrongful conviction. It's likely the publicity generated by Trump's race-baiting played a role in their original conviction which has often been described as a modern-day lynching.
4. In the 1991 Trump's former President at the Plaza Hotel quoted him as saying, "Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.” In a 1997 interview, Trump acknowledged this person's claims about him were "probably true."
5. In 1992 Trump's Plaza Hotel and Casino had to pay a $200,000 fine for transferring black and women dealers off tables to accommodate a customer's prejudices.
6. In 1993 Trump said that some Native American reservations operating casinos shouldn’t be allowed because “they don’t look like Indians to me.”
7. In 2000 Trump ran a series of ads opposing a Native American casino claiming, the tribe had a “record of criminal activity [that] is well documented.”
8. In 2011 he began his racist birther campaign claiming Obama was born in Kenya. Even though Obama has produced multiple forms of his birth certificate, Trump still believes Obama was born in Kenya. He also claimed Obama only got admitted to Colombia and Harvard because he was a member of a minority.
9. In 2015 in his campaign launch speech he called Mexican immigrants “rapists” who are “bringing crime” and “bringing drugs” to the US. I note most of the immigration Trump is talking about is from Central American and not Mexico. Overall the incidents of crime perpetrated by migrants is lower than native-born Americans.
10. In 2016 Trump said that Judge Gonzalo Curiel should recuse himself from a legal case against Trump University because of his "Mexican heritage."
11. In 2016 Trump tweeted an image that showed Hillary Clinton in front of a pile of money and by a Jewish Star of David that said, “Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!”
12. In 2017 Trump said that Neo-Nazis that chanted "Jews will not replace us," had some "very fine people” among them.
13. In 2017 Trump attacked black NFL players who kneeled during the national anthem protesting against systemic racism in America.
14. in a January 2018 bipartisan meeting, Trump asked, in reference to Haiti and African countries, “Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” He then suggested that the US should take more people from countries like Norway.
15. The census question Trump wanted to include about citizenship was designed to racially discriminate against Hispanics. The guy that was hired by the Trump administration to design the question said so in his notes and emails that were discovered after he passed away.
16. Then there are the recent tweets that have been discussed here.
There are quite a few incidents I left off for the sake of brevity. How much proof does one need to form an opinion of whether or not Trump is a racist or a practitioner of racism?
Mark still beating a dead horse, his last horse ( colluding) has turned to manure, just like ALL of his anti Trump outrages. Expect more of the same, for that is ALL Mark has...
He did collude David, but collusion is not a crime and David Miller is fine with Trump colluding with Russia. Moscow Mitch is currently colluding with Russia by putting a hold on several election security measures designed to prevent Russian meddling in the 2020 election. He doesn't even lie about the reason for doing so. He claims he can't support these bills because it would put Republicans at a disadvantage. Simply put Republicans know they can't win national elections without Russian help.

Oh, I seem to recall predicting a blue wave in the 2018 elections and someone else predicting the only blue wave we would see was one in his toilet. The Democrats took 40 House seats from Republicans exceeding even the most optimistic projections made at the time. The last total eclipse was on August 21, 2017, making you wrong again.
How is that non productive "blue wave" doing? The rest of America is fed up with your do nothing DemocRat controlled House - they will be voted out next election so that our nation can confront the pressing national issues instead of conducting a witch hunt. Yeah, your "blue wave" is less productive than the one in my toilet.
Voted out? I guess you have missed the news. Republican candidates have been dropping like flies. It suddenly seems they can't wait to retire. Susan Collins is making noise she might retire. It is awfully hard to take back something if you surrender before the battle begins.
Wait and see. Once Trump is out in 2020, Republicans and conservatives will be tripping over themselves to proclaim Trump was never their guy. I suspect most of the Trump voters here at the LVA will do the same. Some Republican elected officials will even go so far as to say they were secretly working against him the whole time.
The only question will be, et tu Doc?
