I predict that crime will jump further in Illinois next year.

This article talks about how Illinois is going to eliminate bail in virtually all situations, including for crimes such as:

"There are 12 non-detainable offenses where the new law would end cash bail. The law includes second-degree murder, arson, drug-induced homicide, robbery, kidnapping, aggravated battery, burglary, intimidation, aggravated driving under the influence, fleeing and eluding, drug offenses, and threatening a public official."

This is going to be a cluster fuck, and it's certain to chase more people away from Illinois.  Fine job Libs!

This asinine decision is going to get people killed - time to purchase a gun and get a carry permit.

The last thing these 2 morons need are guns.

Boiler's "source" completely misstates the proposed measure. The proposed law enables judges to impose non-cash bail. It absolutely does NOT eliminate cash bail.

Getting ginned up about something nonexistent is a terrible waste of one's life. Boiler and David can run out and buy some GUNZ if it makes them feel less impotent.

Imposing non-cash bail IS eliminating cash bail.

Kevin didn't read the entire article or didn't read enough to understand what reality is.

Here's my prediction.  Illinois violence and criminal activity surges, and Kevin denies that it has anything to do with with this stupid law.  No way to prove it, yet Illinois is left in shambles.

If the Illinois crime rate gets any worse, it might become as bad as..........Texas.

Here's the real question for Kevin.  If the law does do away with bail for these crimes, is Kevin for it or against it?

That's such a breathtakingly stupid statement, I won't even bother to refute it.

No such law exists or is being proposed. It gives judges discretionary power in such cases. Judges can still impose cash bail if they feel it's warrarnted.
