I think the Democrats really do need to look at themselves in the mirror and ask how they allowed Donald Trump to win this election.

Are we all in agreement with this?

15,000,000 Democrats forgot to send in their mail in ballots!   Maybe they were 'lost' in the mail.  Seems like a lot didn't show up which is weird since Biden got so many millions more votes than Obama, and Kamala was so popular they had to dump Biden!

People were pissed about inflation and voted for change.    Its that simple.

If there was a fundamental problem with the left's message then the Swing States would have voted for Republican Senators too....right now only one swing state picked a Republican Senator and thats just by a handful of votes.   Republicans should take note of the multitude of split ticket voters before they start marching towards their "MAGA mandate"

All in all, Im very proud of the campaign Kamala ran and the grace she showed upon losing.   Listen to Tim Walz's concession speech if you havent already.

If the lesson America is suppossed to learn  is to be violent in the wake of an election loss and brainwash half the country into thinking it was stolen.....well, then America is in trouble.   We seem to have rewarded those people for their behavior this time around  which I find disgusting.    I'm glad Democrats havent decided to follow that path.

They already know. Their candidate was a WOOMUN, which turned off a major portion of their voters. And she was Black, or multi-racial, or whatever you want to call it, which alienated another major voting bloc. The dual handicaps were too much to overcome.

To unpack this, simply look at Latino voters. There is absolutely no motherfucking way on God's green earth that ANY Latino voters should EVER have wanted to vote for Trump. Yet, he dragged in 30-35% of the Latino vote; Why? Well, in addition to being religious fanatics, Latinos are traditionalists. They can't wrap their heads around the concept of a female leader.

You can make the same argument regarding Black voters; many male Black voters were apparently repulsed by the idea of a woman President.

Then to add a final dash of flavor to the soup, Harris's campaign assumed that voters knew her well enough that she didn't have to explain who she was, and that she didn't have to be specific on policy because people don't give a fuck about policy. Those two assessments would have been accurate if she had been trying to persuade intelligent people. But she was actually trying to court idiots, and didn't realize it.

Bottom line: Trump won the idiot vote, hands down.

and 2) Trump will fix everything. Pretty stupid, right?

The lesson America should learn is that the average person isn't even remotely qualified to vote. It's like having a group of toddlers elect the CEO of a major company. They'll go for whoever shows them a shiny object and gives them candy.

You mention inflation gripes. Consider that those gripes are based on two false premises: 1) Inflation was all Biden's fault. 2) Trump will fix everything. Pretty stupid, right? But it sold.

Personally, I don't want to live in the same country as the people who were so fucking stupid as to vote for Trump, not to mention having no morals or honor. I don't want those people to be by my side when a crisis hits.

I blame Biden, 100%, I'm not a Democrat, just wholeheartedly anti-MAGA.

You attach no blame to the DNC? They pretty much butchered the campaign, particularly by not refuting the MAGA claims about HORRIBUL HORRIBUL INFLAYSHUN.

That said, given the recently demonstrated utter stupidity of the American electorate, there may not have been any way to win this one. The only possible way, in retrospect, would have been an appeal-to-the-idiots campaign, which Democrats have always instinctively resisted but is mother's milk to the Republicans.

It was/is apparent that the DemocRats did indeed conduct an appeal-to-the-idiots campaign - and those said idiots voted DemocRat. Sane people saw thru the cackling hyena Harris rhetoric and voted Republican.
