"Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has doubled down on her allegation that an unspecified "they" can control the weather, a claim that has sparked a backlash online.
"Yes they can control the weather," the Georgia lawmaker and staunch Donald Trump ally wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday night. "Anyone who says they don't, or makes fun of this, is lying to you. By the way, the people know it and hate all of you who try to cover it up.""
Classic MAGA logic on display, she first points to the nebulous "they", assuming liberals and elites, the bane of MAGA existence.
Then the "everybody knows" statement as if this makes it a fact, Taylor-Greene mixes it up a bit and says, "Anyone who says they don't".
Then the, "we are the majority" along with the "we know more than you do" MAGA statement, "the people know it and hate all of you".
Also, MAGA almost always includes, "hate", "fight", or "destroy" in many of their statements.
