I told the MAGA idiots here this is how it would work…

When it comes to the Government employees that DOGE fired. They didn't believe me.

They have been reinstated at full pay and benefits.  The best thing is they don't have to do anything. They get to sit at home and collect their paycheck for doing nothing.  😂

Yep, it so efficient paying people not to work. DOGE is going to end up costing the government money and not saving it anything. All those employees are getting paid, collecting benefits and not having to work.  Plus the government has ongoing litigation and settlement costs for these employees.

I suspect most of them will eventually get a fat settlement for something like three years pay and benefits and a settlement for the US Government defaming them.

You guys must be so proud of the competency of the Trump Administration.

"This action stems from an earlier order by the Merit Systems Protection Board, which said that nearly 6,000 probationary workers who lost their jobs in mid-February had to be reinstated for at least 45 days.

At the Federal Aviation Administration, workers were informed that they would be put on administrative leave through Wednesday and their supervisors would reach out about resuming their duties. They will receive back pay, and the termination will be removed from the personnel record."

"At the same time, probationary employees are hearing from their former colleagues that the work is piling up.

“They are burning the candle at both ends and a mystery third end, and I’m on my fifth week of paid vacation,” said one FDA probationary worker who was initially put on administrative leave for a month and has now been extended. “I want to get back to my job.”"

Hahaha, MAGA efficiency at work, or at home not working and being paid anyway. Nicely done, Trump!

I can't believe all the MAGA legal experts in the forum were wrong about this. That's amazing!

Don't they have some sort of Doge savings counter somewhere? It probably looks like a linked slot machine jackpot, but furiously spinning backward as all the money saved is now being paid out. Haha!

Since Elon and Trump cancelled all those leases for office space they will have to lease new office space for them or continue to pay them for doing nothing. I suspect the lessors for those spaces where Elon and Trump violated the lease will also be seeking large paydays from the government.

So much winning 🏆

I'm astounded by idiots that think government waste and grift is a good thing.  I guess that's why the liberals lost this election, it's become a joke and clown show party.

I am astounded by the idiots that think it is a good thing if the Federal Government violates the law.  If they simply would have done it the right way through a reduction of force, there wouldn't have been any consequences for the Government and the taxpayers.

And if they would have done it the right way they could have gotten rid of the poor performers and retained the irreplaceable employees. Instead they just blanket fired people and defamed them out the door.

Bottom line is Elon and Trump don't know what the F they are doing. They are used to being able to bully people in their private businesses and make them give up when wronged because they can't afford years of litigation against a deep pocket.

When the Government wrongs somebody the person wronged sees a fat juicy payday via the Federal Government. It is low hanging fruit or an uncontested layup if you perfer. You would have thought smart business people could have figured out the distinction before taking action.

Not to mention it is absolutely unconscionable to fire people, and then state falsely that they were fired for poor performance which hinders them seeking employment elsewhere and disqualifys them from receiving Unemployment benefits.

I hope the government has to pay a fortune to these people that they wronged.   I never would have thought the day would come when the Federal Government commits fraud against its own citizens. It's absolutely disgraceful conduct.

The case is on appeal so it doesn't make any sense to bring these people back to the office.

There are almost 10,000 empty or partially used offices so there is plenty of office space.

It does make sense as the Judge found the firings to be a "sham" perpetrated by the Government. Generally, you can't appeal findings of fact. Trump's only hope is the Supreme Court taking the case and changing the law to accommodate Trump's unlawful activities.

There's an old saying, "Do it right the first time or don't do it at all."

It costs a lot more to do it wrong,  why are you in favor of spending more for poor decisions ?

Typical MAGA, bunch of idiots.

ANd the funny part is - its doing nothing to the budget deficit.

Government spending not slowing one penny under Trump so far

And thats the big grift.  DOGE has never been about saving money.  its about going after conservative enemies, regulators,....but mostly sabotaging government so they can move towards privatization.

Soon you'll be hearing from Republicans how feckless government services are ....so maybe we should just get rid of them.    Thats the salespitch after they ruin the government services.
