I told the MAGA idiots here this is how it would work… (Part 2 USAID)

Once again the left is using any and everything to undercut Trump's Presidency like last term.  Now they are frantic as their massive fraud and grift is being uncovered and are Judge shopping to stop the dismantling of their corruption.  ActBlue is dissolving, all the rats are jumping off the ship.  Now we know USAID and other mechanisms were used to funnel taxpayer dollars to liberal NgOs that then laundered it back through entities like ActBlue.

We are winning.

Iggo isn't real. Just a fake personality constructed by a troll.

This time it is the agencies that Trump and Musk illegally shut down. I tried to tell our resident MAGAs how this would play out. They didn't believe me.

Elon Musk's attempt to unilaterally dismantle the U.S. Agency for International Development likely violated the United States Constitution, a federal judge ruled on Tuesday.

U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang ordered Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency to immediately give USAID employees access to their "email, payment, security notification, and all other electronic systems," and ordered a pause on any efforts to shut down USAID.

It looks like we will be reopening all those agencies at a great expense to the US taxpayer so congratulations MAGAs. Again this is something that could have been done legally but Trump and Musk chose to do it illegally and now the taxpayers are going to pay, pay, and pay some more.

I hate to come across as a braggart but if our resident MAGAs want to continue to argue legal issues, I suggest they get a handle on what they don't know.

Hint:  Do your legal research outside the MAGA verse.  Look for articles that are written by actual legal scholars that went to law school and understand the entire picture. You should be looking for a neutral analysis.  That is one where the arguments for both sides are made, the current state of the law is discussed and the pros and cons of each side's argument are discussed. An article written by someone with a dog in the hunt cannot be trusted as it will only present one side of the argument no matter how weak that argument is.  An article like that leads you to believe you have a slam dunk case when in reality it is a Hail Mary case.  It is legal scholarship not advocacy you are looking for.

It looks to me like DOGE is pretty far into the red right now since they have to rehire all of those employees and reopen those agencies.  All that money could have been saved by simply following the law.

Gotta love the Liberal stance that's it's illegal to fire a government worker.  If Luci owns an Italian restaurant, he can't fire employees for lack of performance or lack of need?  You people are so Liberal.

The restaurant owner doesn't have a contract with his employee, but government and state workers do.  Apples to oranges in your example, Boiler.   It's not being liberal, it's following the rules of the contract.

All contracts have termination clauses.

Again where is the outrage of a democrat gov firing 2,000 prison guards.

What is the expense?

Mark and PJ, did the sky fall when Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels cut 18% of the Indiana government workforce and cut th budget by 10% about 20 years ago? Has Purdue collapsed after he became President and froze tuition and room and board 14 years ago?  It's still frozen.  How can that be be, and attedance has grown by 30% during that time?

Gotta love the idiot Boiler stance that "Liberals" (dumb childish spelling) think it's illegal to fire a government worker.

It isn't. No one ever said that it was. Boiler LUVVS to make straw man arguments. So foolish.

It DOES, however, expose an employer to civil litigation if breach of contract occurs. Those government employees cannot be summarily fired except for cause. Such firings can be challenged in court.

That's neither "Liberal" nor conservative. That's contract law.

Fuck the prison guard "issue." You made it up.

And yes, MOST employment contracts have termination clauses. Government employment contracts certainly do! And the Turd violated each and every one. Firings have to be FOR CAUSE. Not Elon running around flapping his arms and bleating "waste."

Stupid, stupid Tom.

Back pay. And all the other expenses associated with bringing worksites and buildings back up to speed.

Pay back for unnecessary employees is a wash.  Kevin, if the sky falls for the elimination of unneeded employees let's  talk.
