The Democrats can no longer hide who they really are - and this farce of this guilty verdict should be a wake up call to every citizen in the United States. Two things have been accomplished today, 1- the Democrats have handed the White House to the Republicans and, 2 - Americans will vote out the corrupt Democrats in the House and Senate. The gloves are now off.

David loves crime and criminals so of course he is voting for someone with 34 felony convictions.
We had a democratic party hack judge who donated to biden and whose daughter works for the democratic party as a fundraiser. He ws so prejudiced he wouldn't even let the defense bring in a key witness.
Most of the jury members even admitted on their jury questionaire that their only source of news was the NY Times & MSNBC.
Trump had no chance at this trial & it will likely be overturned as the case hinged on Federal election law where bragg has no jurisdiction.
Judges don't render verdict. Every witness who said Trump was guilty was from his own inner circle of Republicans. And one of the jury members was a Truth Social disciple.....even that juror said Trump was guilty.
but now Tom is playing the insurrection game. When loser Trump loses he cries "rigged election". "Rigged trial". "Rigged media". "Rigged FBI". And Tom is crying too.

The insanity continues. Makeup or believe anything to avoid the fact that your guy committed these crimes and is now a convicted felon.
Trump had no chance at this trial because he refused to follow legal advice. He wanted to continue to deny he had sex with Stormy. Making that type of unbelievable argument in front of the jury discredits your whole defense.
He didn't even have his attorney request the jury consider the misdemeanor version of the offense rather than the felony version. This is how you win these cases as attorney. You concede your client is a rude, obnoxious asshole but that his conduct was at the worst a misdemeanor rather than the felony.
This approch works because it builds credibility with the jury because your not trying to hide, via ridiculous excuses, that the defendant is an awful person that did something morally wrong.

Judges control the flow of the trial. They have a big hand in the jury selection. Marchon showed where the trial was headed when he put a gag order on Trump but allowed cohen and others to rant on. He followed it up by letting the defense not to disclose their witness list. Almost every defense objection was overuled, while the prosecution objections were sustained. A key defense witness wasn't even allowed to testify

Any other defendant that repeatedly violated a gag order would be sent to jail until their trial was over.
The judge in this case did an amazing job. Before he accepted his role as Judge in this case he asked for and got an advisory opinion as to if he had a conflit that requried him to recuse. The ethics board ruled that he did not. If only Alito and Thomas felt bound to judical ethics to the degree this judge did.
