True. But the "justification" for any and all of the shots was that the victim was trying to run down the thug. Hard to imagine that happening and the thug still being able to fire an aimed shot through the windshield from the front of the car. That would take superhero reflexes as well as a magic gun that can fire in a hundredth of a second.
Besides...while we know that the thug was an angry, unprofessional asshole, would he have shot her from in front of the car and then moved to her door and shot her again? Though I suppose his first shot could have missed.
Let's all stop trying to spin this. The agent fucked up. The woman fucked up. MAGA wants to put all the blame on her and completely exonerate him. People who oppose MAGA want to minimize the blame on her and pile it on him.
So what perspective should we all have, politics and MAGA fealty aside? My view is that the burden of acting properly falls on the person who can potentially do the most harm. A woman sitting in a parked SUV is not a threat. A man with a gun drawn and aimed at someone is--even if he IS law enforcement.
