I'm not saying they didn't commit a crime. I am saying they should receive the same due process as any other person accused of a crime.

The unfortunate aspect of all this racist anti-immigrant crap is that defending the rights of people that a substantial portion of Americans hate hate hate costs votes. That's why I think that Democrats, as a strategic measure, should stop such defending. Trans/gays/brown people/black people/disabled people/anyone who isn't a straight white male...throw 'em under the bus. Climb aboard the MAGA hate wagon.

They should run not on the noble saviors of the oppressed platform, but rather, the we care about your grocery bill problem. That's the way to win; Americans vote with their rice bowls.

Of course, once they get into power, they should strip all Republicans of their citizenship and sterilize them. But, first things first.
