She had been stalking the ICE officers for a while. She blocked the street. Local law enforcement doesn't help ICE,so it was up to them to move the vehicle.
They pulled their guns when she started to move her car.
When you try to apprehend someone you surround them. The person being stopped doesn't have options here.

Let's take that idea to the logical MAGA (I know!, oxymoron) conclusion. I bet we'll all find out from MAGA media that the ICE shooter was really a Democrat and supporter of Obama, working covertly in his administration. His father and grandfather both supported Carter and Clinton and have said negative things about Eisenhower, Reagan, and Bush 1 and 2. Joe Biden paid to have him travel there, and Hunter Biden painted his vest to look like ICE. Hunter is now selling similar paintings to Democratic supporters, who buy the paintings only to gain favor from Nancy Pelosi and AOC.

I would be willing to bet that the vast majority of law enforcement agencies do not train their officers to stand in front of a vehicle. Especially one that they think is about to move forward.
What immigration or customs law did she violate? From where do the agents derive the authority to apprehend her for blocking a road? They simply could have copied her license plate down, drove around the block to get around her, then contacted the FBI for investigation and possible apprehension. I don't feel like her apprehension was something that had to be done immediately. While sitting in the road she didn't seem to be an imminent threat to anyone.
She definitely made some bad decisions. But I think bad decisions were made all around in this case.
Local law enforcement doesn't help ice? When you're a cop that can't get help from another cop it might be time to reevaluate some of your tactics. Generally cops help other cops now and ask questions later.

What did you liberals say about Ashley Babbit? She shouldn't have been there in the first place? I remember some Democrat politician saying that. She was clearly murdered by Michael Byrd. Maybe the same thing happened here, I don't know. The videos are unclear, though one angle does show the agent getting hit.
I support right to protest, but not blocking freeways, roads, law enforcement activites or glueing your body to the pavement. Its just stupid.
If you have issues with law enforcement, you take it up in the court, not on the street.

I tend to agree. You're way more likely to come out of a situation unscathed if you follow commands when law enforcement attempts to apprehend you. Fleeing or fighting usually ends up with someone getting injured or worse. Even if the detention is unlawful one is usually better off complying and getting it worked out later.
