You act like this is just a Republican problem. Yet Dems had total control of voting maybe what 6 years ago. Did they do a DAMN thing? I think this is a shared problem so maybe stop the finger pointing. Maybe a constructive solution?

The Sante Fe shooter broke quite a few gun laws that are already in place - local and federal. More laws won't stop this when the laws currently on the books are ignored BY CRIMINALS. Taking away other's rights don't and never will make more people more safe. ...but that isn't what the anti-gun folks really want.

Rep. Diane Black (R-TN), a candidate for governor of Tennessee, says that pornography is a “big part” of the impetus for school shootings, along with violent movies, “idle hands” and the “deterioration of the family.”

“It’s available on the shelf when you walk in the grocery store. Yeah, you have to reach up to get it, but there’s pornography there,” she said. “All of this is available without parental guidance. I think that is a big part of the root cause.”

I don't know which is more pathetic blaming porn or blaming the porn of 20 to 30 years ago when dirty movies could be found among the VHS rentals at your local grocery store.
