You right.  Have 50 teachers with training and handguns on their hip couldn't do a thing.

I guess both Boiler and Trump have a Rambo fantasy. Trump said today he would have run into the building unarmed to take on the shooter. LOL I suggest Boiler watch this where a guy that has military and SWAT training describes what it would likely happen if a teacher with a handgun took on someone shooting with an AR-15 inside a school.  

Oh we can get plenty of "idiot" democrat responses on preventing school shootings as well. Neither party has the run on it.

I agree with you on the arming of teachers, totally insane to me. How many insurance companies are going to cover school liability with armed teachers? Damn few I would think.

I think if someone wants to do this crime they will be hard to stop, but it can be done.

Lock school doors down except for front door entry. Install metal detectors and make EVERYONE pass thru. 

Other than that it is a tall order.

Banning certain guns will have little or no effect.

L.A. police ran into two bank robbers who were armed with assault weapons.  The fire fight was even due to the cops had the numbers but only had service revolvers.  Several cops were wounded and the bad guys lasted quite awhile before being taken out.  The cops had to go to the gun stores to get enough fire power to beat these robbers.

Teachers armed would have a better chance than ones unarmed.  When the shooter comes into the room, shoot them.  If you could ambush them, you have a chance.  A frontal assualt, not smart.  Cop's, job description is to nuetralize the shooter.  How many unarmed civilians ran into the school?  Why would the President make such a boastful statement?  The President showed his bravery by avoiding Vietnam.  I can make this statement because I had the Vietnam experience, 18 months of it.

When a Liberal policy fails, why do Liberals next decide and demand that we need more of it?

He is well spoken which gives him a leg up over 98% of his Republican cohorts, but he still spoke untruths. Restrictions on gun ownership do work and there is hard data to prove it. Since Australia banned certain semi-automatic, self-loading rifles and shotguns, and imposed stricter licensing and registration requirements in 1996, there hasn’t been a mass shooting in Australia.  Furthermore, the suicide and homicide rates have drastically fallen.

Saying but what about Chicago doesn’t work because most of the guns used in Chicago crimes come from my home state, Indiana, or some other state with liberal access to firearms.  

Nevertheless, I challenge NRA types to put their money where their mouth is and abolish these gun free zones.

Why are these gun free zones if guns make us so safe? The NRA won’t let people carry guns in their headquarters, but they think guns should be carried in kindergartens, grade schools, middle schools and high schools.
