 You conveniently omit the fact that the DemocRats defied funding for the building of the wall and that the wall was never finished. The 5 billion that was spent is a drop in the bucket of the billions of dollars that illegals have cost America. If the wall had of been funded and completed America would not be facing the current  - and future - issues that illegal immigration have brought to America. a) provided cheap labor, particularly in jobs Americans don't want to do

b) paid taxes (look it up yourself, how much THEM ILLEGULS put into Social Security alone every year)

c) been customers of businesses (they eat; they consume services; etc.)

d) and some have received permission to stay long-term and will contribute to our society
