Trump has not yet been impeached.
Being given a notification is not first hand info as to who made the decision & why.
There is is no incentive for the Senate to cave to the democrats demands.
Kevin’s obscene rants are getting worse as his dream is falling apart.
DemocRats will pay...

Dead wrong, Boilerbaby. The impeachment process has two phases: the impeachment proceeding and the impeachment trial. The former has taken place.
The impeachment itself is like a criminal indictment. The Senate trial is like a criminal trial. Whether the latter actually takes place doesn't matter--Trump was still impeached, just as if one of you Trumpers were arrested and indicted for treason, you would still have been charged even if you didn't end up in court.

There's plenty of incentive for them to proceed with the impeachment trial. The most important incentive is that it's their duty to do so. It's their job and their obligation, if and when the House sends them the articles of impeachment. The other incentive is that stonewalling the process could hurt the Republicans who are up for reelection in November.
Moscow Mitch doesn't realize that Pelosi is playing him like a fiddle. She wanted him to come out and say that he had no intentions of being impartial, fair, or objective, and that he would cheat the process and be a loyal Trump lackey--and he dutifully said that, without prompting! Pelosi must have cracked up at that.
BTW, the House is considering two additional articles of impeachment, having to do with Trump's violation of the emoluments clause and his tax dodges, so that may slow down the process even further. The Democrats also realize that maximum damage would be done to Trump by moving the Senate trial later next year. So they may delay, to strengthen their case.
Idiot Tom, you have no idea what "my dream" actually is, but I've said many times (I acknowledge that you can't read) that I expect the impeachment process to end with the Senate giving Trump a pass. Therefore, it's not something I really want all that much. But think what you like, to the extent that you can think.
And here's an obscene rant just for you, Tom: fuck you and your idiotic beliefs, you worthless piece of asshole Trumper scum. You're welcome!

Tom said, "There is is no incentive for the Senate to cave to the democrats demands."
I believe that Moscow Mitch would be happy if it never made it to the Senate. However, what you fail to realize is that Mitch, Miss Lindsey and a few others spent weeks talking to Trump and getting him to go along with a speedy no witness trial in the Senate. Trump wanted a full Senate trial with witnesses because he believed such a televised trial would exonerate him. Now Mitch can't deliver what he promised, so Trump wants the full enchilada again. The pressure Moscow Mitch is getting comes from Trump because he desperately wants to be exonerated on national TV. It is why Pelosi's move was so brilliant.
What I can't understand is why Tom, Mitch and others don't want to give Trump a full trial with witnesses like Trump wants. Trump believes it will exonerate him. You have droned on for months about wanting more first-hand witnesses. Do you no longer want them?
Well, remember when both Trump and all our brain-dead, drooling Trumpers were whining about Trump "not being able to call witnesses" during the House impeachment proceedings?
Then Pelosi invited Trump to call witnesses, or even to appear in person and testify.
Dead silence from the Orange Coward and the scum who support him.
Trump believes that his lackeys in the Senate will be able to scream and shout down any witnesses, the way they tried to do in the House, because Moscow Mitch will be running the show. The trouble is--and Mitch knows this--the proceedings will be public, and televised. The world will see if the Republicans make a sham of the trial. Fox News and Trump keep bleating about a "sham impeachment" that was supposedly rushed--even though it took almost three months! Now, Mitch wants to rush it through in two weeks. Trump wants it to be drawn out, with the calculation--quite possibly correct--that it will allow his lackeys to be as full-throated as possible in their defense of the Orange Asshole.

Kevin, Trump is not impeached until the House sends their decision to the Senate. This has not happened, and you'll find that there is no reason for the Senate to do anything until this happens. Contrary to what Liberals continue to tell us, hearsay is not accepted in a court of law.
The Senate is not a court of law.
Jurors who declare themselves as “not impartial” do not get to render verdicts in courts of law. They are removed. And they certainly are not allowed to coordinate and strategize with the defendant the way Moscow Mitch and Lindsey Graham are doing. So be glad it’s not a court of law, Boiler.
Unfortunately the defendant refusing to testify is an impeachable offense all by itself. As is his denial of documents and other witnesses from his inner circle. So when Boilerman complains about a lack of first hand accounts he should realize the reason for that dynamic is in of itself impeachable.
Little boy Kevin do you always wear your jester hat?
