If I were to bet on anything with you, assuming that you're a Trumper and would cheat anyway, I'd ask you to define what "going nowhere" means in this case.

Pelosi admitted yesterday that the democrats have been working on the impeachment of President Trump since he took office 3 years ago. 

So they were trying to overturn the election since before he took office.

Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff did not create the allegations against the president....his own inner circle did.

No Republican in the House challenged a single fact testified to by the witnesses...instead they complained about not being able to call Hunter Biden as a witness.   But now that Mitch McConnell said he will also reject Hunter Biden as a witness it undermines everything the Matt Greta crowd was crying about.

so we’re left with the president’s team testifying under oath about his misconduct...while the president himself cowers under his desk (impeachable all by itself).

Impeachment is not "overturning the election." Trump was elected. That's not in dispute. Quit bleating standard Republican talking points.

The impeachment of Bill Clinton did not overturn, nor did it seek to overturn, the results of the 1996 Presidential election. It was a review to see if he was fit for the job, much as the current impeachment process is doing re Trump.

I know that Sean Hannity, etc. continually mouth the idea that impeachment is "overturning the election," but it's not. It's a perfectly legal process written into the Constitution. You should learn to think for yourself.

I think the impeachment process may actually help Trump, as he can portray himself as "poor, poor, me" being hounded and persecuted by them no-good Democrats--and his base will cry tears of sympathy.

Nevertheless, the process has to take place. We've been basically ignoring the criminality of Trump ever since he took office. That sends him the message that he is above the law. He certainly believes that. Therefore, we have to at least attempt to bring him to justice, even though Moscow Mitch and his cronies won't let that happen.

All we can do is show what a corrupt sham the Republican party has become and make the case that since the criminal Trump can't be punished, the entire system should be reformed and the Republican party eradicated.

And yes, I still want to have all Republicans sterilized :) However, I do support exemptions for those who can't get it up anyway, like our Trumpers.

The witnesses have no facts. Everything they said was their impression of the conversation, most of them were not even on the call or even met President Trump. 

The most important witness - President Zelensky said there was no pressure. 

Tom, are you going insane? You don't obstruct justice if you are innocent. You put those witnesses forward to say you didn't do anything wrong. And there are first-hand witnesses, the transcript, what Trump said on TV, what Mulvaney said on TV. That is all first-hand evidence. Zelensjy isn't a credible witness because he is still being coerced. What do you think happens to Ukraine if he says yeah, they blackmailed us? No more aid and an open invitation to Russia to do as they please.
