Is all you want to do is argue? Everyone with a functioning brain knows that soldiers and police sometimes have to use lethal force - it comes with the job. Any police officer or soldier would laugh at your asinine comment. You know exactly the meaning of my post, but choose to "play dumb" - if you were playing- in order to be be confrontational.

Nope. There are many circumstances where using lethal force is justified both morally and in the eyes of the law. For instance, someone draws a knife and runs at your daughter, who has her back turned. You are armed. Should you do whatever it takes to stop the assailant--or should you let him kill her?
And yes, soldiers and police do indeed have to use lethal force--but your blanket statement didn't allow for any exceptions or circumstances.
