In The Dead Of Night Republicans Sneak In A Billion Dollars For Trump’s Ballroom

That's taxpayer money despite Trump saying numerous times it was going to be fully funded by private donations.

Since it's part of their spending bill, they plan to pass it through reconciliation. So it is more or less a done deal. This is absolutely disgusting.

That ballroom goes against everything America is supposed to be about. You know the whole no kings thing that the founding fathers were so adamant about?

Anyone who votes to fund this monstrosity is absolutely  an awful human being with no redeeming qualities. if you look at the mock ups of the ballroom, it totally overwhelms the rest of the White House because it's so big. When photographs of the White House are taken you will have to look at that monstrosity whorehouse style ballroom because it will dwarf the White House.

And the next Democratic president will tear the damn thing down and rebuild the East Wing maintaining the architectural style of the old west wing and the taxpayers will be footing the bill for that too.

I have found it odd that our conservative friends were up in arms when they were removing or trying to remove Confederate statues. The Confederates lost the war, by the way. Yet have no problem with illegally tearing down a historic structure.  Now the taxpayers will foot the bill.

Absolutely no moral or ethical center.

Just who "foot the bill" for the clean up/removal of said statues?Answer - tax payers. What was the cost for leaving the statues alone and not destroing them? Answer - nothing. Who decided that the statues needed to be removed? Answer - the radical left. Now who really has no moral or ethical center? Answer - the radical, tax payer money wasting left.

Those statues honored actual traitors--"levying war against them [the United States] or adhering to their enemies or giving them aid and comfort."  You love to, improperly, throw around the word "traitor" at those with whom you disagree; yet, you were upset that people wanted to remove statues honoring actual traitors.  Your political inclination has warped your judgment.

As usual, you are trying to stir up shit where there is none. Time for you to grow up and conduct yourself like a sane adult instead of a petulant liberal moron.

Did you or did you not bemoan the removal of Conferate statues?  Were they  traitors? Calling me names does not excuse your bad judgment.

No, I did not bemoan the removal - I cited the absolute waste of time and money utilized for their removal.- all done to appease the non ending, incessant, cries from the left as they find fault with everything in America - while contributing nothing but hate and chaos. It is not "bad judgement" to point out the truth.

The "truth" is that we should not have statues that honor traitors.

Keep in mind, everyone, that Miller doesn't care about Confederate statues or ANYTHING else; he just wants to start and enjoy arguments, so when several of us express an opinion, he leaps at the opportunity to "disagree" and pitch insults.

One of the ways he LUVVVVS to do that is to reflexively support everything MAGA says and Trump does. He cackles to himself as he whips out his tiny dick and jerks off to the thought of owning the libs.

So don't try to argue with him. Just laugh at or dismiss him. He's an asshole who's a festering boil on the skin of the world.

Now he will insult me, as if that excuses him.

So, we pay no taxes on the rest of the White House?  Upkeep?  Salaries?  Lawn care?   Limos?  Gas for the limos?

Every part of it has been remodeled or updated in some way through the years.

Taxpayers aren't dunned for any part of the life of a POTUS?

Just curious, all the outrage about the ballroom.   How is it apportioned?  Like, how much will I pay, how will I know, and will that be reflected next  April at tax time?  Or quietly added to some other line item we don't 'see'?

Just askin'.
