In The Dead Of Night Republicans Sneak In A Billion Dollars For Trump’s Ballroom

What murders at sea? Apparently you have no problem with those boats bringing drugs into the U.S., essentially murdering American who take the illegal drugs.

a) At no point and in no instance was it ever determined that any of the boats attacked or people killed were in the process of smuggling drugs.

b) Whether they were or not, the boats were in international waters, and Trump did not have the authority to attack then, unless we were at war with Venezuela, which we were not.

c) We are signatories to several international treaties regarding b)

d) We certainly had the ability to track those boats and apprehend them if and when they entered YS territorial waters. Why didn't we just do that? That would have been easy --and lawful

MAGA does not oppose wasteful spending or unconstitutional government action. They adamantly support the wasteful spending and unconstitutional actions that they perceive will benefit them.

I was never a fan of Trump and am happy to report that I never voted for him. But in  Trump's first term, whenever challenged to state something positive about him I was at least able to say he hasn't started any new wars. Obviously I can no longer even say that.

All ya gotta do is say, "It's not a war!" I hasten to add that the Turd isn't the first President to try that.

It also helps if the President has a subservient, compliant, lapdog House that will treat the Constitution like toilet paper.

Most intelligence reports say that those boats don't come to the US. Those boats would run out of gas long before they reached US waters.

Additionally your statement is a logical fallacy known as a false dichotomy. There are ways to capture and hold for trial suspected criminals on the high seas. We have been doing it for generations.

The notion that the only two options are summary execution, or nothing is completely ridiculous.

You still have not responded to the constitutional provisions I posted at your request that demonstrate White House renovations need congressional approval.

Please read those constitutional provisions and tell me your opinion of my assessment.

If those boats were not coming to the U.S., then where were they headed? Secondly, in case you missed it, the drug running boat traffic is currently pretty much non existant. These people were warned and did not heed the warnings and paid the price - their choice, they did it to themselves. As for the material you posted, you did not point to any specific part for me to read and, after looking at the length of the material, I decided not to waste my time doing research. I suspect that there will be more roadblocks put into place  but I feel that the renovations will be completed, especially after the latest attempt on President Trumps and the cabinet menbers lives by another hate infused, brainwashed moron. We will see...

Yes you're right The first link I posted was the full constitution. But when you requested more detail I quoted the specific provision.

It is perfectly understandable that you missed it. There have been several posts in the thread since then.

If a boat is suspected of a crime the proper steps would be to have the Navy or Coast Guard board and search the vessel then detain the crew. That's how we ensure that our suspicions are correct and we did not error in our allegations of criminal activity. That is how we have been doing things for basically 250 years.

Wherever they were headed was their business. And it was gently explained to you that given where they were when they were destroyed, they wouldn't have had the fuel to reach the US anyway. We aren't entitled to make people "pay the price"--i.e., kill them--for not "heeding our warnings." Not in international waters!

Furthermore, did Trump even issue such a warning, that Venezuelan fishing vessels on the high seas would be attacked and destroyed on SUSPICION of drug smuggling? No, he didn't.

I know why you don't want to do any research. You know that the orange bastard whose dick you suck committed multiple murders. You know he had no legal right or authority to do so. And it shames you to support that. So just clamp your hands over your ears and yell "I CAN'T HEAR YOUUUUUU!"

Look at my previous post wherein I observed that there were four reasons why Trump's actions were unreasonable and unlawful. If you have any balls, tell me why I'm wrong (specifically referring to any or all of the arguments I listed). If you have no balls, insult me or make a limp-dicked reply as above.

Just where does your posted reference say what you claim?

I replied to this earlier but I think you missed it:

Article 1 section 8 is the powers of Congress. It grants Congress authority over federal buildings.

..........To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the Acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States, and to exercise like Authority over all Places purchased by the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dock-Yards, and other needful Buildings......... (My emphasis)

Article 2 is the power of the executive branch/president. I can find nothing in there that can be reasonably interpreted to grant the President the power to renovate a federal building.
