The county next to the one I live in, Dubios, has had an explosion of cases. They went from 40 or so cases to 164 cases in just a few days. They have yet to report today's numbers. It is a rural county with two big towns.
The explosion started in a turkey processing plant.
My "top secret" sources in state government tell me that the infection has spread to at least two other large non-meat-processing plants. The first one makes electronic parts for ventilators and has been running three shifts and the second one makes hospital furniture.
I mentioned this in several of the reopening threads. As things open, more of these essential workers that work in close quarters are going to be exposed to people in the community that have COVID and carry it back to the plants. I'd stock up on meat if you don't want to be forced to go vegetarian.
