Indiana rejects Trump cheating

The plan was to gerrymander and blot out the two Democratic Congressional seats out of nine total--being ahead 7-2 wasn't enough for the Turd. However, the utterly Republican-dominated state Senate rejected the Turd cheat map 31 to 19. He threw a fit, of course.

Could this be...could it...maybe

...could this be an instance of Republicans acting out of honor? Republicans defying the Turd?

I don't know much about Indiana politics, but this rebellion seems surprising.

Nice to know their balls finally dropped.

Our state is 48 out of 50 when it comes to voter turnout.     Thats a big plus for Republicans.

The non-voters overwhelmingly vote blue if you get them motivated enough to show up.

When Republicans make a big enough mess those people vote and Indiana goes blue.   Then they stay home and Republicans take over again.    We're going through one of those Republican mess periods right now.

Senator Todd Young will be up for reelection.   That could end up being interesting.   I actually like him 10x more than our other Republican Senator.   Too bad he's not up for reelection.

The PROOF, stupid Tom, is that the higher the turnout, the better Democratic candidates do.

Idiot.

I've lived here 25 years and seen it first hand.      Evan Bayh, Barack Obama, Joe Donnelly....and about 6 Democrat House members in red districts.   The common denominator in all those elections was record or near-record turnout in the elections.

Turnout has been low since 2016.

There is a huge swath of people in this state who dont like either party...but they show up to kick out Republicans whenever they get fucked over by them.    Kinda like now when they bump up their insurance premiums by 100%.

Then one has to ask the age-old question: what red states could be flipped if the Democrats got people up off their asses to vote? Do people there realize that their lives are being fucked over as a direct result of their apathy?

If the Cubans keep abandoning Trump and the Republicans in Florida, Florida could go blue. The Democrats just won the Miami's mayor's office for the first time in almost 30 years. They probably realized quickly ICE just sees a brown person and dosen't stop to make distinctions of which brown country you are from.

Yeah, though that's Miami, and the rest of the state is dominated by old decaying white assholes. I don't know if Miami flipping would be enough to turn the whole state blue.

Possibly, Texas could flip. The Hispanic voters that went Trump are now realizing that they're his "filthy Jews." I imagine that they find it both alarming and infuriating that their citizenship may be stolen away.

Arizona has always teetered back and forth, but the Republipig "we hate brown people" crusade is going to have a real effect.

Barring a complete miracle, we won't get the Senate back, but the House is a real possibility.

Lewis thinks that governing America is like a contest. He is too ignorant to admit that the corrupt DemocRATs are responsible for all of the financial woes that President Trump is addressing - correcting 4 years of mismanagement by the DemocRATs takes time - and 10 months has not been enough time. By the time the 2028 election rolls around America will be well on the road to prosperity and the DemocRATs will no longer have any control of governing America. The only platform these worthless  DemocRAT POS have is bitch, obstruct and distort reality.
