Indiana town learns elections have consequences

Electricity prices are not up 80%. Electricity cannot be exported to other countries worldwide. Natural gas can be exported and is a commodity that is influenced by worldwide demand and production.

Like wind and solar, this carbon capture project is a loser.  Can one Liberal explain why electricity prices are up 80% over the past decade while natural gas prices have been flat?  It's wind and solar.  Let's not make the same mistake with stupid carbon capture projects.

Boiler, as a proud Purdue graduate with a family history of men in your family working as scientists in the oil industry, including yourself, did you not know that LNG is a worldwide export? Seriously.

Boilerboob is no more a former scientist than I am the Pope. The ridiculous things he says show not only a lack of professional knowledge about the energy industry; they also show his utter ignorance of it. My cat knows more than he does.

.

Max, US natural gas prices have been flat for a decade.  I'm very familiar with exports of natural gas, but what the hell's your point.  Gas prices have been flat, and electricity prices have skyrocketed...because of obscenely expensive wind and solar.  If you don't include all the ancillary costs of wind and solar, it's competitive, but this lie doesn't make these expenses go away.

The cost of electricity has almost exactly kept pace with inflation, idiot.

And natural gas prices have not.  We should be building gas power plants.

Another kevin lie

Electric bills may be delivering unseasonable chills starting in June, with the “average” South Jersey residential customer asked to start paying about 17-20% more every month.

I referred to NATIONAL cost of electricity over A DECADE, stupid Tom. Then you went scurrying around to find a rise in costs IN THE FUTURE in ONE AREA.

Stupid Tommie-poo.

Natural gas has to be extracted, processed, and transported. Then it emits carbon when consumed.

It's in the same category as coal. Requires a great deal of investment, time, and effort to extract, process, and transport. So much easier to erect a solar array and plug it in.

Back to your argument that electricity has gone up with inflation.  What you fail to realize is that 75% of the cost of producing electricity from natural gas is the cost of gas.  Wind and solar is the problem, regardless of Liberal ignorance.

When did I talk about that? I was simply refuting and schooling you re your stupid lie about the cost of electricity.

Don't pivot. Don't weasel. Be a man and admit it when you're wrong.
