Inflation dipped, but still running at high for 40 years.

Ouch.  The Libs argue the Sleepy's monetary policies didn't have an impact on this.  Canada's and Mexico's inflation is 40% less.  Just magic, I guess.

And let's not Sleep on the fact that Russia was too scared to begin this war under Trump.

Sleepy sucks.

It should also be noted that the pesos that I brought home in December 2021 from Mexicao have gained 10% in value vs the US dollar.  Libs want to call this magic.

When is the last time that that has happened.  The answers are simply Liberal magic.

For those who don't know, it was Ronald Reagan who returned our country to prosperity after the high inflation Jimmy Carter years.

Yes yes yes, everything is Biden's fault. Except the good stuff. That's all due to his "puppet masters."

You and your kind are a one-note song.

What is the good stuff?  Inflation is FAR outstipping wage increases.  Several million fewer Americans are working today than three years ago.  Unemployment rates tell little of this story, and that's why Libs tout it.

Still waiting for the good, but I'll wait.

LOL, we know the Republican plan to put a stop to inflation. They even published it in an eleven-point plan.

It includes raising taxes on the middle class and ending Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid.

Really ?  Because he cut spending?  Oh yeah, you're the one who says "liberals" decided Roe/Wade.

Reagan massively increased govermnet spending and massively cut taxes...both of which flooded money into the public.    That was good for economic stimulus ...and not good for inflation.

Inflation peaked Jimmy Carter's last year in office when his nominated Fed Chariman, Paul Volker, raised interest rates to an unheard of 15% which created a recession.    It served its purpose and slowed demand.   And iot killed Carter's presidency.

There was nowhere to go but up after that....and Reagan flooded the public with money after complaining about that very dynamic under Carter   Hypocritcal but whatever.... Fine.

In short, Reagan didnt do shit to stop inflation.  You can give him credit for economic prosperity after Volker cured inflation.

IS IT CHERRY-PICKING SEASON ALREADY???????

I can do that too! Since 12/31, the peso, a very volatile currency, has gained........0% on the dollar.

But last June when I ventured to Spain (Madrid, Cordoba, Seville, Nerja - on the Costa del Sol, Granada, and Barcelona), I had to spend $1.20 for one Euro. Now when I go to Europe this June (Dublin, Athens, Crete, and Istanbul), I'll only have to spend $1.05 for one Euro. That's over a 14% gain, and it's holding steady.

So Boilerman, I'm all ears. Please tell me how the strength of the dollar reflects on the president of the United States, like, you know, the current one.

But frankly, your best move might just be to slink away right now.

(And did anyone notice how I bragged about my travels in the Boilerman "my life is good" style? I thought that was fitting.)

Your statement about "several million fewer Americans working" is total bullshit.

The "good" is extremely low unemployment, whether you want to admit that or not. "Unemployment rates tell little of this story." HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

You make such a fool of yourself trying to tout your stupid conservitard points.
