They weren't drafted so the separation is voluntary. They get to spend time with their kids when they aren't deployed often living in the same housing, they often have weeks or months to arrange for care of their kids before they are deployed although they are usually left in the care of their other parent, their kids aren't being held in wire cages in their absence, their kids aren't denied human contact in their absence, and their kids aren't being pumped full of massive doses of antipsychotics to keep them in a zombie-like state to make them easier to handle. All in all, another weak sauce meme straight from the sewer of some white nationalist site.

Immigrant children are being routinely and forcibly given a range of psychotropic drugs at U.S. government-funded youth shelters to manage their trauma after being detained and in some cases separated from parents, according to a lawsuit.
Children held at facilities such as the Shiloh Treatment Center in Texas are almost certain to be administered the drugs, irrespective of their condition, and without their parents’ consent, according to the lawsuit filed by the Los Angeles-based Center for Human Rights & Constitutional Law.
Parents and the children themselves told attorneys the drugs rendered them unable to walk, afraid of people and wanting to sleep constantly, according to affidavits filed April 23 in US District Court in California.
“You don’t have to be a rocket scientist here; it looks like they’re trying to control agitation and aggressive behavior with antipsychotic drugs,” said Mills, who practices in the Washington, DC, area and was an expert witness for a lawsuit that in 2008 stopped the federal government from forcibly administering antipsychotic drugs to deportees.
“You don’t need to administer these kinds of drugs unless someone is plucking out their eyeball or some such. The facility should not use these drugs to control behavior. That’s not what antipsychotics should be used for. That’s like the old Soviet Union used to do.”
One child was prescribed 10 different shots and pills, including the antipsychotic drugs Latuda, Geodon and Olanzapine, the Parkinson’s medication Benztropine, the seizure medications Clonazepam and Divalproex, the nerve pain medication and antidepressant Duloxetine, and the cognition enhancer Guanfacine.
Dosage recommendations at Shiloh gave orderlies what Mills called an unusually wide berth to determine how much medicine to give the children.
Maribel Bernardez first suspected her son was being drugged at the Shiloh facility when she saw a video sent by his caseworker via WhatsApp.

What is so sad is that the conservatives here aren't aware of this actual child abuse being perpetrated by the U.S. Government under Trump, but they will eagerly parrot conspiracy theories hatched by white nationalist websites that say Democrats are molesting kids in a secret basement of a pizza parlor. There are hundreds of articles from various news sources covering this story right now. All one has to do is go to Google News and type in Shiloh Treatment Center to find them. A lot of the articles describe the kids as having been put in chemical straight jackets, and I think that an accurate description as to what is going on.
Some people will believe anything the media says. That is the ONLY accurate description of what is going on. And, of course, whatever evil is written is always President Trump's fault.

Eyewitness accounts are evidence especially when they are in the form a sworn statement in a court filing. They also have of some of the kid's medical records. As opposed to the pizzagate story where they had literally nothing other than the rants of a few conspiracy kooks.
