Inside Trump’s Gulags For Children

As usual PJ misses the point.  It implies that the crying girl was separated from her family, but she wasn't

Neither were the cartoon children in Mark's post - better call the Fake News police!   Is the Time article a fictional story about that girl or is it about the 2000 families he separated ?

And since when is Trump worried about fake Time Magazine covers?  This is the one he photoshopped himself and hung up in Mara-Lago.

...and the OLD LAW required minors to be separated from their parents AFTER 20 days of detainment. It is clear that you don't want people illegally entering this country to be arrested, charged or convicted.

Oh, Bobby why do you have to be so dramatic?  A large number of people charged with or stopped for a misdemeanor are never arrested.  They are simply given a summons to appear in court.  They appear in court and usually cop a plea that results in probation.  For those that are arrested, their kids aren't taken from them and locked up in cages. Hell even in an OWI arrest were the kids in the car, the parent would be allowed to call the other parent of children, relatives, or family friends to pick up the kids.  The last thing local cops want to do is take custody of someone's kids who is only going to be in jail for a few hours before they bail out.  In fact, it is almost impossible to do in my State.  In order for the cops to take a child from the custody of both their parents or a relative the parents left in charge of the kids, they would have to contact child services and child services would investigate, and then if child services wanted custody of the kids they would have to petition the county court for an emergency hearing and that would take at least 2-3 business days to get done.  The parent would be out of jail by then.

Simple typo Bob.

Abnesty or Amnedty or Ammesty would be a simple typo. Amnesty is what you meant. You wrote the word 3 times.

PJ wrote: "My second clue was the knowledge that our president has not been bothered to visit any of the detention centers or the families he's seperated in them." You must also be talking about Øbama. ...but when Øbama was doing the same thing (separating families), it wasn't news worthy.

Mark, crossing the border illegally is not the same as something like shoplifting. As much as you want to trivialize it, it isn't trivial. Children caught illegally crossing the border, including unaccompanied children (the majority of children detained in the last decade), ARE offered the opportunity to be released to other family members, relatives or willing sponsors already living here, if there are any.

All you are doing is reaffirming that you don't want people illegally entering this country to be arrested, charged or convicted. You'd fit right in with the group of "Democratic Socialists" that harrassed DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen at a DC restaurant, and have ramped it up by moving on to continue to harrass her and her family at her home. The hate from the left just continues to escalate. REAL HATE. That's what Americans should be most concerned about right now...

I hate to break it to you, but shoplifting is a more serious offense than an Improper Entry.  If one commits Improper Entry, the first-time offender is charged with a misdemeanor and the maximum penalty is 6 months and the maximum fine is $250. See

I will use my state’s shoplifting law as an example.  A first-time offender that pilfers less than a 100k worth of goods can be charged with a felony or a misdemeanor.  It is left to the prosecutor’s discretion.   Practically, if someone swipes less than a $100-$300 (depending on the county) worth of stuff they will be charged with a misdemeanor and if they swipe more than a $100-$300 worth of stuff they will be hit with a felony. The misdemeanor charge comes with a maximum of one year in prison and up to $5000 in fines.  The felony charge comes with a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 3 years. The fine can be up to $10,000. As you can see the shoplifter faces much more serious consequences than someone that enters the county illegally, yet they never take a shoplifter’s kids and most of the time they aren’t even arrested.  They just receive a summons to appear in court.

I am thinking of joining the Democratic Socialists.  Perhaps, I will start my own chapter as the closest active chapter to me is an hour and a half away.  If I were a Republican, I'd be living in paradise as one of the largest strongholds of white nationalists in the country is just an hour away in Paoli, Indiana.

Maybe all you "bleeding hearts" need to read some of the issues families have faced with illegals in the country!

Michelle Root of Iowa lost her daughter in a car wreck in Omaha caused by an illegal driving that had NO RIGHT to be here in the first place.

She and the rest of her family are going thru "permanetly separated" from their only daughter!! Sadly this is just not the only family that has been effected by all the wonderful illegals we have!

So maybe some of you can "give" up one of your children to "really" show your true feelings on family separation!

Not a question when Clinton started this nor when Obama also did exactly what Trump is doing! Your views on this are so tainted that it is hard to even read your bullshit responses!

My "tainted views" (as usual) are shared by Pulitzer Prize winning fact checkers and they call Woodpecker and Bob's claims to be bullshit (as usual).

Snopes says BS regarding right wing claims about CLinton

Politifact sats BS regarding right wing claims about Obama

Actually both sites contradict themselves

Snopes -

"On 7 May 2018, CNN reported that until April 2018, immigration officials used discretion to handle families or unaccompanied minors entering the United States without documentation:"  So it was being done

Politifact

"(A Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman said the Obama administration did not count the number of families separated at the border.)"  If nobody was keeping count, how can one tell how many families were broken up.

Another note - it appears the PJ & Mark as well as other liberals, don't care how many false photos or stories are put up, as long as it is negative to President Trump.

How come the liberals don't seem to care about how many people have been murdered or victims of other violent crimes by illegals?
