In light of how some states' self-defense laws are so expansive, would one be within their rights to use lethal force against an anti-vaxxer that was endangering people by exposing them to a potential COVID infection?
I was thinking back to my experiences during the pandemic. Towards the beginning I had several people come up to me in public and get within a few feet of me and go on to explain how it is all a hoax and there is no need to wear a mask.
Then there was the guy that came up to me and started talking about microchips and bill gates before the vaccines were released.
And there are numerous everyday people I encounter that say they will never get vaccinated.
If I were an immunocompromised person, would I be within my rights to shoot someone like that when they approached me?
Was it my duty to neutralize that lady on my last flight to Vegas that refused to follow the crew's instructions and kept taking off her mask? Wasn't she intentionally jeopardizing everyone's health on the plane?
