Is this weird?

Trump smiling and giving the camera the big thumbs up at soldiers' graves in Arlington.

Sure seems weird to me.

Trump's 'disgraceful' thumbs-up and flashing smile at soldiers' graves slammed by netizens: 'I have no words…' - Hindustan Times

They are all smiling big time.  The photographer has to be as big an idiot as those in the picture.

"OK, everybody say cheese."

Doubt this is real.  JMHO.

Candy

It's real.

Candy, keep in mind the subservient idolatry of Trump supporters. If he had ordered them to strip naked from the waist down and stand on their heads, they would have unhesitatingly done so. "Grin like an idiot" was a simple order.

If you want to be amused/horrified, rumble over to YouTube and watch one of those segments where reporters interview MAGAs at Trump rallies

It is real.  Workers at the cemetery tried to stop Trump and members of Trump's staff from breaking the law.  Trump's staff physically assulted them.

Certainly insulting to the person who's name is on the tombstone, if that is real.  I don't believe much of anything like this anymore.  Too much availability of AI or other sytem able to create fraudulent 'news'.

He needs all the positive press he can get regarding the military after some of his earlier comments regarding the Medal of Honor and soldiers that die in war being losers.

Don't you think that the Trump campaign would whine and whine if that photo wasn't authentic?

Yes, AI and photoshopping can create all sorts of unreal nonsense (as the Trump campaign did when they used AI to "show" that the DNC arena was half empty), but the antidote to that is corroboration. There were dozens if not hundreds of people at that gravesite who also saw Trump and his lackeys grinning like fools.

Nowadays, people don't place much stock in images, but it's also a relatively transparent trick to alter them, so you can usually trust images if they can be verified via other sources.

Here are more pictures of the ceremony.  Very respectful

Meanwhile our alleged president went to the beach & the vp was nowhere to be seen

Nothing more respectful than violating a law, the breaking of another law by forcefully shoving someone aside to take videos in an area where you were told you were not allowed to do so. Then you takes pics in front of fallen soldiers graves with a thumbs up and a big grin on your face.

After being caught commiting these crimes, you still release the video which was yet another violation of the law.

About the only thing he could have done that would be more disrespectful is to piss on their graves which I wouldn't put past Trump.
