Is Tonight The Night Trump Tells Us The Reichstag is on fire?

I just wanted ONE year of 3% GDP growth under Obama.....never happened despite rate cut after rate cut by the Fed to stimulate the economy.  In comes President Trump and the Fed increases rates 9 times to cool off the economy and we see a year of 3% GDP growth.   It never happened for Obama despite interest rates NEAR ZERO.  

There is no way but up after a major recession and Obama could not even handle that.  He blew his load on "shovel ready" projects for cronies and wasted money on scam green energy companies like solyndra.  I am so thankful we finally have a businessman in the white house instead of a radical community organizer who was married by Reverend Wright and posed for pictures with Louis Farrakhan.   At least Michelle was proud of her country for the first time in her life, and she appeared on the cover of Vogue many times, but she never visited our troops in a combat zone.  I wounder why?

Obama took GDP from -3% to +2%   (that would be net change of 5 points)...and that was with one stimulus plan  that Republicans had to be dragged kicking and screaming through because it added to the debt.    Ultimately Obama dropped the deficit enough to pay for his stimulus plan and then some.  7 years of uninterupted job growth and a triple of the S&P 500 later we still had to listen to the FOX News crowd whine about its effects.

The GOP has  since put in place their own stimulus plan that costs annually what Obama's one time plan did....And the stimulus was overwhelmingly to corporations and billionaires instead of working people. 

Its a free country - people can favor whatever policy they think was best.   But please, please do me a favor.   If you are a fan of the Bush/Trump tax cuts dont ever try to posture yourself as a fiscal hawk that gives a shit about the deficit.   We only have a deficit right now because of Republican legislation and foreign policy.

And the national debt doubled under President Obama --- at least he doubled something!

I am sure pj will pay the difference between last year's taxes & this year.

It wouldn't be much.  Like most Middle Class Americans my tax cut was negligble.   I guess I didn't bribe my Republican Senator enough to get included in the mix of people who benefited.   

But dont worry !   Much like you did with Obama and the Bush tax cuts you'll get to blame Trump's successor for the fiscal impact of his mess.  That and golf.     In the meantime you can continue to adopt your Dick Cheney philosophy about how deficits dont matter.
