Trump is apparently shitting bricks.  The expert witness that testified as to how much these ladies should be compensated for damage to their reputation will be testifing in Trump's second rape trial as to the damages Trump owes his victim.

A civil trial, right? I mean, Trump's never been criminally prosecuted for rape. So let's say that he loses. That plantiff will have to get in a long, long line to collect.

Let's face it. Trump will NEVER be punished, civilly or criminally, for all the horrible shit he's done, aside from the inconvenience of hiring lawyers and attending trials, most of which he doesn't have to be physically present at anyway.

Why do I say that? He's got too many friends and adoring lackeys out there--plus the mob of drooling MAGAs. They've protected him so far. No reason to think they won't now.

Rudy showed up for his first day of work at his new job in the wake of his legal ruling.    Give him some credit - he's still trying to be a functioning member of society instead of living off the state.

Rudy just filled for BK. One more thing he has in common with the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee.

The nice thing is that bankruptcy just means that a court instead of Rudy the Rat will control his assets. And it's not as if the plantiffs in his defamation case would ever have collected any more than a tiny fraction of their award.

It's not as much of an escape hatch as it used to be.
