The looting was a. bad. thing.

We can all agree on that. But to use footage of looting to smear and demean the peaceful protestors was reprehensible, and a signature out-of-context Fox News move.

I approve of the protests. The protestors had and have every right to demonstrate. THAT SOME PEOPLE CROSS THE LINE INTO CRIMINALITY DOES NOT CHANGE THAT FACT ONE BIT. I think even conservatives realize this--but attacking and demeaning Black people is so ingrained in their thinking, they can't avoid it.

I'd like to ask DonDiego directly, because he's the only one of our Trumpers who might give a thoughtful answer: does he realize that the news media covering only the violent aspects of the protests and ignoring the protestors' message--that systematic racism must be stopped--also constitutes systematic racism? Ignore the protestors' message and focus your efforts on depicting them as violent thugs?
