You're not so thick as to not realize that what matters here is NOT Biden's capability--it's the public's perception of it. We can debate how fit Biden is until we turn blue in the face. But that's not the issue of concern. We have to beat Trump. All other considerations are secondary. And Biden's chances against Trump would be lousy.

He dropped out of the VP stakes when Whitmer did. I could be surprised and they might pick someone other than Harris in the top slot but I don't think that is likely.
She is the only one with direct access to the Biden/Harris campaign funds. Plus, she is a great candidate with a great biography.
