It's Mourning in America

IMHO, here are the two most effective political ads in my lifetime:

From 1984, Ronald Reagan's Morning in America.

Released 5/4/2020, Mourning in America.

In less than two days "Mourning" already has about five million views on Twitter alone, and the President really helped boost the views when he sent out angry tweets on the subject.

Trump had a Twitter meltdown calling the former Republicans who produced the ad losers and "a disgrace to Honest Abe." And he attacked one of the ringleaders George Conway, as "deranged" and called him "Moonface." Yes Conway, like Trump, is obese.

And Conway is Kellyanne Conway's husband, which is hysterical.

Ooh! This must really be twisting Trumper panties!

Interestingly, the video only advocates getting rid of Trump, not replacing him with Biden or anyone else. It's sort of like a "Never Trump" ad.

Trump's screaming toddler reaction was predictable. He lacks the intelligence or savvy to realize that his tantrums have dramatically increased viewership of the video.

The only piece of the puzzle remaining is for our resident Trumpholes to weigh in and insult us and call us liars. They won't be able to resist doing that.

It can't legally advocate for Biden explicitly because it's from a PAC.

It will take trillions of dollars, untold American lives, and decades to undo the damage that the trump crime family and his gang of incomepents have done to America.

But is the damage done to the brains of Trumpers--many of whom, we must assume, used to be decent people--repairable?

Consider that, incredibly, there are still tens of millions of Americans who continue to worship that pile of filth. I doubt they can be cured. So the question is: how can we erase them from public life?

We have to make Trumpism seen to be as reprehensible as, say, pedophilia. That will come about when we highlight Trumpism's immorality and evil.

Hard to do when an ''American President'' champions nazisim, fascism, racism, sexism.

But, trump loves the uneducated...

We'll manage eventually. But millions may die unnecessarily as a result. Look at how many had to die to get rid of Stalin, Pol Pot, Hitler, Saddam...

For instance, how many soldiers will die in the Battle of Washington, when Trump refuses to leave the White House, as he has threatened?

The people complaining about President Trump trying to open up the economy are now complaining about the drop in the economy.

You can't put the most of the country under house arrest & then be surprised when the economy declines.

What this post shows is that no matter what President Trump does the TDS crowd will complain.

Covid-19 didn't wreck the economy. It's the President's MIS-handling of the situation that did it. And unless the buck stops....nowhere, we need to say it happened on Trump's watch.

You want to compare the lives AND treasure lost in the USA with other, better run, countries? I'd be glad to provide specifics.

Leadership matters.

"What do you have to lose?" - Donald Trump

People under lockdown are not under arrest. However, people who have been wheeled into ICUs and did not recover are definitely dead.

As long as the deaths of others are just some statistical abstraction, opening up might seem like an attractive idea. However, deaths are actually very, very real and personal.
