The DA ran his election campaign on a "Get Trump" platform even though at the time there were no pending investigations. The judge and his family worked for and donated to the biden campaign. In 2020 Trump only got 12% of the vote. With a tainted jury pool like this there was no way he could get a fair trial. A change of venue request was denied.
