Jimmy Kimmel's sin

It's actually kind of hard to track this down, since videos of his monologue from that fateful night have been yanked from almost every source. I wanted to watch what he said re Kirk's shooting.

Turns out that he uttered ONE sentence, consisting of an observation that MAGA was trying desperately to disassociate the shooter from them and paint him as a "radical left-winger."

That's it. No observations about the shooting itself. No criticism of Kirk. Just that one statement.

And that statement has turned out to be absolutely true.

So this is why the Fucking Turd called Kimmel a "sick freak." This is why conservative media has been crapping its drawers. This is why MAGA is making up lies about Kimmel--because otherwise, it's a complete nothing burger. Kimmel told the truth.

The most hilarious part is Ted Cruz, of all people, holding forth in criticism of Trump's fascist censorship. And he's absolutely right!!

So it turns out, Kimmel wasn't canceled for critizing Kirk. He was canceled for criticizing MAGA! The ultimate sin!

Seems the backlash has taken effect.  The show to return.

Yep! That's what I said! His remarks weren't about Kirk or the shooter, but rather, MAGA's flaccid attempt to paint the shooter as something other than one of them.

I'm pleased and surprised.

This was somewhat hard to sort out in the beginning, who was left or right, who was going after whom, who should blow up about whom, yo left, -yo left,  -yo left right left.

It was about MAGA cancel culture and their making a huge panty-twist kerfuffle about nothing, as they so often do. Turned out to be a real plane crash for MAGA, as they showed themselves to be anti-free speech assholes and alienated many of their own loyal lackeys.

The real idiocy was that Kimmel's comment was relatively innocuous, and not critical of Kirk at all, but the Turd and the MAGA propaganda machine pretended that he had spent fourteen hours spewing bile and venom about the noble and blessed conservative warrior Charlie Kirk, and had grown horns and a tail. I mean, really, MAGA overplayed their hand here.

While our country is indeed spiraling down the MAGA toilet bowl, there are still quite a few people--even some MAGAs--who don't like the idea of being dragged away for saying something the Turd doesn't like.

I would expect all Americans, regardless of their party affiliation or ideology, to be outraged by what the Turd did and MAGA's enthusiastic support of it.
