Jobs bleeding out--so much losing!

As I said in a post in another thread, it's because Trump, and therefore MAGA, thinks that the world is a zero-sum game. I can't win unless you lose. So as President of the greatest trading nation on Earth--he's against trade.

Our yeeping MAGAs will now chime in and say he's only against "unfair" trade. So what's unfair trade? ALL OF IT!! they say. Circular logic!!

Oh my God, we have a Liberal telling us that the economy isn't a zero sum game.....after a hundred years of just the opposite.  Liberals (Kevin) argue that the economic pie is fixed, and if Bazos is making $1,000,000,000 that's taking food out of the mouths of Democrats.  Kevin doen't grasp the irony.

Boilerman doesnt understand world trade.    He thinks there should be no trade deficit with countries who have a population 1% of our own.  Got that?  Portugal should buy as many goods from the US as we do from them - nevermind their entire population isnt even big enough to fill Chicago metro.

Boilerman also doesnt understand any of Trumps policies (or he's purposefully lying about them).  We dont have trade deficits with several of the countries that Trump is tariffing.   So even if that stupid metric is your guide it doesnt hold true in the policies being presented.    See the UK for one example.

And other cases the tariffs have absolutely nothing to do with economics. 

Trump openly says he's tariffing Brazil because he's upset they held their Jan 6 terrorists accountable.

The entire UNited States population pay 50% higher prices on hamburger at the store....because Trump and his Jan 6 assholes have a personal grievance.

So We can get into the hypocrisy of Boilerman crying about Biden's record job creation whilst cheering another term of Trump killing jobs.  and his hypocrisy about socialism....and his hypocrisy about Ukraine...and his hypocrisy on a whole host of other topics.....    But you can save that for another thread.   The important thing here is Boilerman  is clueless and dishonest about Trump's current trade parade. 

If the economy is a zero-sum game, then the GDP could never grow, right?

Over 900,000 jobs that the biden claimed were created last year were never created.  The year before it was 800,000.

Biden's last 8 months in office created a million more jobs than Trump's first 8 months in office.

Does anybody have a bulldozer for Tom to rent?  He needs to move his goal posts...I mean REALLY move them.  Maybe to another state.

With major revisions every month for the last 2 years the BLS numbers are worthless.  The number is still subject to further revisions

Translation:  BLS numbers are " worthless" if they look bad for Trump."  If they look bad for Biden, they were great!  

WIth 900,000 jobs missing under the biden gang last year & 800,000 the year before, not good for the biden gang either.

There have been questions about the jobs numbers accuracy for years; which is why the market doesn't move much on this data
